16 Pack 694 Survival Guide Edition: 8/14/ Prayers, a reference guide 4.1 "The Apostles Creed" prayer I BELIEVE in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. 4.2 The Our Father" prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy Name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil. Amen. 4.3 The " prayer, full of grace! The Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. 4.4 The "Glory be to the Father" prayer Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us pray. O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries in the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain, and obtain what they promise: through the same Christ our Lord. Amen. 4.6 The "Fatima Prayers" O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Your mercy. Page 12

After me comes he who is mightier than I, the thong of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. (Mk 1:7) 3. I baptize you with water for repentance... he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. (Mt 3:11) 4. John saw Jesus coming toward him, and proclaimed, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (Jn 1:29) 5. Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him. Jesus said to him in reply, "Allow it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." (Mt 3:15) 8. After Jesus was baptized, he came up from the water and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming upon him (Mt 3:16) 9.
