I will extol the Lord with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly. All: For great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. Leader: He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever holy and awesome is his name. All: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. The church, and in particular, the preaching of God s Word, helps us to see the heavenly character of the Bible s content, the efficacy of its doctrine, the majesty of its style, the agreement of all its parts, and the scope of the whole, which is to give all glory to God. All: The testimony of the church also shows us the excellency and perfection of the Word of God and helps us to see how the Bible fully discloses the only way of salvation. please turn page
