RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA) The parish is always ready to receive adults into the process of preparation for baptism or reception into Full Communion with the Roman Catholic Church. Evangelization That those Christians who, on account of their faith, are discriminated against or are being persecuted, may remain strong and faithful to the Gospel, thanks to the incessant prayer of the Church. SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE Couples planning to marry in the Church should make an appointment to see one of the priests as far in advance as possible (at least six months). Please call (617) to make an appointment. PARISH FOOD PANTRY Non-perishable food is received before every Mass for the pantry, which is open Saturdays from 11:00am to 11:30am. CHURCH ACCESS FOR THE DISABLED Take elevator from the Parish Center Lobby at 29 Mount Auburn Street. Restrooms, handicapped accessible, are located on 1 st & 2 nd floors of the Parish Center. PARKING FOR MASS ON SATURDAY & SUNDAY Free parking at the Cowperthwaite Garage is available by permit only for those attending Mass on weekends only.

CLERGY HEALTH AND RETIREMENT COLLECTION The Easter collection is for our active and senior priests who have dedicated their lives in faithful service to God and His Church. Remember priests such as Fathers Armano, Murphy and Salzmann, who have made a meaningful difference in your life, and consider honoring them with a generous gift to the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust. Our priests have dedicated their lives to serving the Catholic faithful here in the Archdiocese of Boston; now, it is our turn to care for them in their time of need. PAULS WELCOMES OUR NEWEST CATHOLICS At the Easter Vigil throughout the world, new members will be coming into our Catholic faith through the RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Here at St. Paul's we extend our warmest wishes and congratulations to Bow, Vitaly, and William (who will receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist at the Easter Vigil) and Alexander, Douglas, Eric, Kim, Matt, Sean, and Steven (who will state a profession of faith and receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Eucharist also at the Easter Vigil). Please keep these new Catholics in our parish and throughout the world in your prayers as they enter the period of post-baptismal catechesis called Mystagogy, and as they continue to grow in their new faith and live out the Gospel. Queen of heaven, rejoice, alleluia. For he whom you did merit to bear, alleluia. Has risen, as he said, alleluia. Pray for us to God, alleluia. Rejoice and be glad, O virgin Mary, alleluia. 4 MARCH 27, 2016 CHECK OUT WHAT S HAPPENING AT ST. PAUL S We look forward to our new Pastor and Senior Chaplain, Fr. William T. Kelly, who will be arriving here in late April. Let us keep him in our prayers! EASTER EGG HUNT Following the 11:00am Mass on Easter Sunday, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Daughters of Isabella and St. Paul's Parish. Children under age 5 should gather in Room 202, and children ages 5-9 should gather in the Multimedia Room on the 2nd floor of the Parish Center. We look forward to a fun-filled and exciting egg hunt! WEEKLY CHORAL VESPERS Choral Vespers on Wednesday afternoons with, St. Paul s Choir School, will be moving to Thursdays at 5:15pm. Regular parish Vespers in the Chapel will be moving to 6:00pm on Wednesday evenings. This change will begin the week of Easter, March 30 and 31. ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT On the First Friday of every Month, St. Paul s has Eucharistic Adoration in the upper Church. This practice takes place following the 8:00 AM Mass until Noon. We are looking for volunteers who can take shifts to stay with the Blessed Sacrament. A signup sheet is available in the Vestibule. Please include your name and time frame you are free. Thank you! EASTER FLOWER DONATIONS It has long been the custom here at St. Paul s to request donations to help defray the cost for the plants and flowers that grace our beautiful church during the Easter season. Envelopes may found in the vestibule. Please mark checks with Easter Flower Donation in the memo line. A BIG HOMELESS MEALS PROGRAM THANK YOU! A great big word of gratitude to all who devotedly volunteered and contributed food to the Homeless Meal Program. There was a record number of 70 attendees including volunteers. Thank you to the choir school boys sang who graciously sang for our guests at the final meal. CENTERING PRAYER GROUP The Centering Prayer Group meets Thursdays 6:30-8pm in Room 202. Our meetings include lectio divina, readings from Fr. Keating or the Christian mystics, followed by a period of centering prayer. We are reading "An Inner step toward God" by Fr. Alexander Men and will be starting Brother Lawrence's "The Practice of the Presence of God." Readings are provided. All are welcome. For info, contact Susan or Janice at stpaulcentering@gmail.com. CARING FOR THE SOUL Caring for the Soul meets on the first Monday of the month at 5:30pm in Room 202. Caring for the Soul supports those whose lives have been affected by Mental Illness, and is working to make our religious communities places of compassion, healing and acceptance. All are welcome. WOMEN IN TRANSITION: REFOCUS, RENEW, RELAUNCH On Saturday, April 9 from 8:00am to 3:00pm, St. Eulalia Parish, Winchester, is sponsoring Women in Transition: Refocus, Renew, Relaunch. Join the group to explore the meaning of transition in your life. Invited professional women who have experienced their own transitions and have helped others through various life changes will give their input. Come learn and share!
