Estate and Long Term Care Planning at St. Peter Lithuanian Church We are pleased to have the folks at Commonwealth Advisory Group come for an informational seminar on March 30, 2014 in our parish hall after the 10:30 Mass during kavute. Whether someone is planning ahead or if someone is already in a nursing home get the information you need. The prospective of long term care in a nursing home is one of the most difficult decisions facing elders and their families. By not taking the proper legal steps to protect your life savings, your home and your assets could be gone. It s never too early to plan. All are welcome to join us for this informative session. Steve has been able to proudly tell his fellow priests that St. Peter s Parish has a high percentage of parishioners involved in the Arise program. The good numbers show that our parish is alive and committed to our faith. Now St. Peter s Parish is committed to participating in the continuation of Arise: Why Catholic. The theme is Sacraments and will run for six weeks from March 8th through the week of April 6 th. Please consider signing up for this series of group meetings to be held at various homes as well as in the parish. If you have not been able to attend during the past years, this is a great time to join. Talk to your friends about participating in this new program. Based on the experience of previous groups, you will get to know your fellow parishioners better, learn about your faith, and find strength in the prayer and fellowship. Per paskutinius kelis metus, kunigas Žukas galėjo drąsiai pasigirti kitiems kunigams kad mūsų parapijoje didelis procentas dalyvauna Kelkis būreliuose. Šie nemaži skaičiai įrodo kad mūsų parapija gyvuoja ir pasiryžus išlaikyti savo tikėjimą. Šv. Petro parapija ir toliau dalyvauna Kelkis prisijungdama prie programos, Kodėl katalikas. Tema šiai Gavėniai sakramentai. Ši programa tęsis 6 savaites pradedant kovo 8-tą iki bal. 12-tos. Jei dar neesate prisirašę prie Kelkis grupės, raginame prisijungti. Prisirašymo sekmadieniai: vasario 22-ą ir kovo 2-trą, po 10:30 val. mišių, parapijos salėje. Dalyvavę Kelkis grupėse sutinka kad tai proga geriau susipažinti su kitais parapijiečiais, savo tikėjimu, ir atrasti ramstį maldoje ir bendravime.

Thank you to Bishop Hennessey It is with sadness that St. Peter Lithuanian Parish says farewell to Bishop Robert F. Hennessey as he prepares to assume his new responsibilities as Bishop of the Merrimack Valley Region of the Archdiocese of Boston. Bishop Hennessey made it a point to understand and appreciate our parish s identity and mission and enhanced it through his joining our celebrations of the 400 th anniversary of Our Lady of Šiluva, Kūčios, and the rededication of our church.
