If one is not baptized or for any reason does not wish to receive Communion, he or she is most welcome to receive a blessing, indicated by crossing both arms over one s chest. If you wish to discuss or receive baptism (initiation into the Christian faith), please speak to the priest. You may receive the bread directly onto your tongue or into folded hands, and then after consuming the bread, may drink the wine from the chalice. If you keep the bread in your hands, it is our custom that a chalice bearer will dip it into the wine, and then place it on your tongue. The ministers will bring the Sacrament to those who tell an usher that they cannot easily climb the steps. Low-gluten bread is available upon request. If one does not wish to receive either the bread or wine, be assured that Christ is fully present in both. 12

SUMMER CANTOR SPONSORSHIP Sponsors for summer cantors are needed from June 5 through September 18. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the Parish House hallway. Each Sunday's sponsorship is $115. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR CHOIR ROOM CLEANUP Volunteers are needed to help clean the choir room and return the music library to order. 14 CHORISTER NEWS Under the supervision of Jim Hopkins, the Choristers will be heading to Newport, Rhode Island for a Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) Training Course during the first week of August. They will spend the week honing their talents and preparing for a big Eucharist and Choral Evensong at the end of the week. Scholarships to the summer camp were given by the Gertrude Butts Fund of the Diocese of Newark. This is a great opportunity for them to work with some of the best choirmasters in the country and to meet choristers from other programs!
