Faith Formation ~ Grades 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8: Students attend class on biweekly Mondays from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. according to a previously mailed schedule. Baptism Preparation Class (Pre-Jordan): Parents and sponsors are required to participate before the day of Baptism. Class is held on a Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. To register for an upcoming class, call the Office of Faith Formation, * * * * * * * * * * New Society: Members meet Tuesdays at 12:00 noon for afternoon fellowship, unless otherwise planned. Christian Mothers: Members gather trimonthly and attend the 8:00 a.m. Mass on the third Sunday of the month followed by a business meeting, unless otherwise planned. Holy Name Society: Members attend the 8:00 a.m. Mass on the second Sunday of the month followed by a business meeting, unless otherwise planned. * * * * * * * * * Sr. High Youth Ministry ~ Grades 9, 10, 11 & 12: Monthly meetings are held on the second Sunday of the month, unless otherwise planned. Prayer Requests: General requests will be mentioned at Mass during the General Intercessions and should focus on a) the needs of the Church, b) for public authorities and salvation of the whole world, c) for those burdened by any difficulty, d) for the local community. PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF GRADE 2 STUDENTS are expected to be present at a Parent Orientation Meeting on Monday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Social Hall for information on the reception of Reconciliation and First Eucharist for their child(ren). Children need not attend. TEENS IN GRADES 9, 10, 11 & 12 Get ready for a year of fun, food and a busy schedule! Revelation The Kingdom Yet to Come Eleven-Part Scripture Study...an intriguing Study that shows how the kingdom established by Christ in His Church is intimately connected with the kingdom of heaven, especially through the celebration of Mass. The Study will be divided into two parts the first five sessions this fall the remaining six sessions beginning in late January. So many of you have been my shoulder to lean on or ear to listen when I needed to vent. I don t think I would have made it without all of you, my St. Anne s family. TAKE TIME TO SMILE! The minister of a small church knew that improvements were needed on the church building. He suggested purchasing a chandelier, but the members voted it down. Why are you opposed to buying a chandelier? the preacher questioned. First, no one can spell it, said the spokesperson. Second, no one can play it. And finally, what we really need is more light!!!!!
