Please drop off your menu items in the Holy Trinity Church parking lot, Sunday, March 4th, from 3:00 to 3:30 PM. The items should be cooked but do not need to be hot and please package for spill proof transportation. The Chicken Casserole Recipe can be found on the shelves in the back of the church or on the website (under News). 3 Holy Trinity Parish COOKIE SALE. Holy Trinity Brownie Girl Scout Troops and (Grades 1-3) will be selling cookies after all Masses next weekend, March Several varieties of cookies will be available for sale and cost $4 or $5 per box. Payment can be made in cash. This fundraiser supports the scouts in their various activities throughout the year, including camping and community service. Thank you in advance for your generous support. BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS.Baptism Preparation Class will take place on Thursday, March 8th at 7 PM in the Parish Center. Please call Roger Camp in the Parish Office at with any questions or to register for the class. A Baptism Preparation Class is necessary if you have not attended a class within the last 5 years or if this is your first child to be Baptized. BOOK FAIR.. Holy Trinity School s Spring Scholastic Book Fair will be held from Monday, March 5th to Friday, March 9th. Family, friends and parishioners are welcome to browse and buy books daily from 8 AM to 1:30 PM. Extra Fish Fry Book Fair hours are Friday, March 9th from 4:30 7 PM. All proceeds from the Book Fair benefit the Holy Trinity School Library! BOOK CLUB. Holy Trinity Book Club will meet on Monday, March 26th at 7 PM in the Parish Center. We will discuss the book, The Chilbury Ladies Choir, by Jennifer Ryan. This novel illuminates the true strength of the women on the home front in an English village during World War II. All are welcome to join us. TEA PARTY The Annual Isabella Ladies Guild Tea Party will be held Monday, April 23rd at 6:30 PM at Ragan Hall, 1783 Moore Road in Avon. Entertainment will be provided by Petitti Garden Centers. Menu consists of chicken salad & croissant, fresh fruit, pastries and tea. PIO OF PIETRELCINA The Relics of Padre Pio will be on display at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist on Sunday, March 4th, from 1:30 5:30 PM and on Monday, March 5th, from 6 AM to 5 PM. Viewing of the relics will be paused during regular Mass times at the Cathedral on Monday. Admission to the viewing queue will be ended 30 minutes prior to the closing of the exhibit on both Sunday and Monday. Family Perspective When Jesus drove the merchants out of the temple, he was not angry, he was PASSIONATE! Jesus clearly believed in what He was doing! The gospel tells us that because of this, many believed in His Name because they saw the signs that He was showing them. If we expect our children to learn our values and beliefs, then they must witness our passion for these values. Just like the people in today s gospel, our children need to see the signs of what we re doing if they are to believe. Children
