6 Adult Bible Study We gather Tuesdays from 1-2 p.m. or so to study the scriptures together with Pastor Heidi. We read sections of the scriptures and then discuss them, so there is no homework, and you can jump in and join us anytime. So just bring your Bible and join us in the meeting room for this study. All are invited to attend. We are studying 1 Timothy. Adult Discussion Group We gather after worship to look at the scriptures from worship that week to dig deeper into their meaning and how they connect to our lives as disciples. We gather in the meeting room after folks have gotten a chance to grab a few refreshments. Trenton First UMC Announcements Breakfast & Devotion If you re looking for a way to start the week with good food, great company and a brief devotion, then come join us at the diner. The next Breakfast will be July 3 at 8 am at Mom s Diner. A big thank you to everyone who helped with the Trenton Summer Festival in any way, including all who helped set-up and clean-up, advertise, cook, bake, served, and sell! Thank you to everyone who donated items too! A special thanks to Tim Whalen and Paulette Wilson for heading up the kitchen all week-end. Tim made delicious sloppy joe. They had assistance from Dorothy Gordon, Jackie Hull, Joe Wilson, and a few others. Many thanks to Charlie Pike for serving up 860 cones of cotton candy over the course of 3 days with help from Jackie. Wednesday, July 26 at 1 pm Mead Mountain By B.K. Dell Riley Ellison is in love. World-famous Christian leader and bestselling author, Riley Ellison loves like a lit sparkler. His genuine affection for even the most wretched burns with scorching heat, brilliant colors and frenzied energy. It's no wonder God chose him to orchestrate His miracle. Pastor Ellison invites the press to join him in exactly two weeks, at which time he will tell Mead Mountain to move on live television, and in accordance with the promises revealed in Scripture, he claims it will move. The lines are drawn and everyone must choose a side. If the mountain moves at Ellison s command, no one could reasonably continue to doubt God s existence, and America will enter into the next Great Awakening. If it does not move, pews will be emptied, believers will be shamed into silence, and the faithful will be made a laughingstock worldwide.
