6 Centering Prayer (Christian Meditation) Take the time to follow along with the Development of A BABY in the Womb from Conception to Birth!! Week 27: My nervous system is continuing to develop so I can breath and swallow better. It also helps keep my body the right temperature so I won t get too hot or too cold. Every great spiritual tradition has known that in profound stillness the human spirit begins to be aware of its own source. This interior contact with the Life Source is vital for us, because without it we can barely begin to suspect the potential that our life has for us. Please join us for centering prayer this Saturday, October 3rd at 8:45AM in the St. Clare room. The Knights of Columbus Council #4839 of St. Mark and St. Thomas More were invited by Fr. Dan Fink OFM Conv., our Pastor, to coordinate an expanded First Friday Eucharistic Adoration program. Commencing on October 2nd, 2015, and continuing on the First Fridays of the months thereafter, the hour(s) of Eucharist Adoration will be from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Eucharistic Adoration is adoring and honoring the Eucharistic presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us". Eucharistic Adoration provides us the opportunity to slow down our lives and "watch and wait." We remain "silent" in His Presence and open ourselves to His graces which flow from the Eucharist. By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, the Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us. In its fullest essence, Eucharistic Adoration is "God and man reaching out for each other at the same time!" Will you make time on your calendar for Him? May our adoration never cease. Come join us, anytime between 8:30AM and 5:30PM for 10, minutes or more on First Friday in Adoration of Our Lord! No prior experience necessary, 6 For more information call Vic Coppola, GK
