Our group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. Grief Shared is Grief Diminished. Our next meeting is Wednesday, May 25, at 7pm in the Parish Center. It is important to recognize the signs of abuse and to know how to interact with possible victims. The best way to start a tough conversation with teens who may be at risk is simply to talk to them ask what s going on in their lives, and if they are okay. It is very important that these pledges be paid, so that our Parish will reach and, hopefully, exceed our goal. Once the pledge payments have exceeded our goal, we receive all of the additional funds for use in our Parish Ministries. Please remember that if we do not meet our assigned goal, the parish is responsible for paying the deficit. Andrew Iskander Special Thanks Our service center volunteers were joined by our St. Charles School students and members of The Way on Saturday March 14 th, and all worked very hard to pick up, sort, and store all the food we received from the Postal Emplyees Food Drive. Thanks to all who worked on this project. Envelopes for Service Center in June Envelopes for donations to the service center ministries will be in the pews throughout June. Donations help us buy food from the LA Food bank, pay for utility bills, and buy supplies for hot breakfast service as well as other expenses. Donations can never be too small or too large.
