Faith Formation ~ Grades 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8: Students attend class on biweekly Mondays from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. according to a previously mailed schedule. Please Note: Schedules are also available on the Website, Baptism Preparation Class (Pre-Jordan): Parents and sponsors are required to participate before the day of Baptism. FAITH FORMATION Revelation The Kingdom Yet to Come Eleven-Part Scripture Study Participants will not meet this Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, but will resume sessions on Thursday, November 29, at 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. in the Social Hall. All are welcome. Choose whatever time is convenient for you! MANDATED REPORTER TRAINING will be held on Wednesday, December 5, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 9, from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Mandated Reporter is a one-time only requirement. LITTLE THINGS FOR LITTLE PEO- PLE, who help those families with children 0 to 3 years of age who need items for their welfare, will be held on Thursday, November 29, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at St. Sebastian Parish Center (next to the Church), 801 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, A photo ID and signature will be required. This is a community outreach program sponsored by the Belle Vernon Area Ministerium. AS ALWAYS, THANKS to those who supported our Thanksgiving nonperishable products collection to benefit our local Rostraver Food Bank. Open our hearts so that we may enjoy the gifts You have given us and see the beauty around us in all Your creation. May we give thanks for the daily gifts of good food, family and friends and, especially, enjoy these gifts with thanksgiving. May we never take for granted the comfort of our homes, the blessings of our family and the knowledge of Your love. And though we sometimes feel the stress of our duties and cares, thank You for the grace You give us to see them through. At this time of year we pause as a nation to give thanks to God for the abundant blessings upon each of us and our nation. It s also a time to gather as a family for a festive meal often times with family who may not always be with us in body! Our bodies will be well taken care of with all the turkey and fixings around the dinner table. But we also gather at the Church around the Lord s table to be fed with his sacred Body and Blood. One morning a woman said to her husband, I bet you don t know what day this is? Of course, I do, he indignantly answered, going out the door on his way to the office. At eleven o clock, the doorbell rang; and when the woman answered it, she was handed a box containing a dozen long-stemmed red roses. At one o clock, a foil-wrapped box of her favorite chocolates arrived. Later in the afternoon, a boutique delivered a designer dress. The woman couldn t wait for her husband to come home. First the flowers, then the candy, and then the dress! she exclaimed when he walked in the door. I ve never had a more wonderful Groundhog Day in my whole life! Keep smiling!!
