5 CQMU IN CHONGQING, CHINA The world s largest inland port city, Chongqing is located in Southwestern China where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet. The city was founded nearly 3000 years ago when the Ba-Yu civilization first established itself here. Later, during the Song Dynasty, the city was named Chongqing which in Chinese means Double Happiness. In today s Chongqing, you can see the fusion of old and new, modern and traditional.

16 Notes for Program Fee 1. Participants from those universities which have Students Exchange Programs with CQMU will be sponsored by CQMU in the Tour (program fee). 2. The proposed program fee is for reference only. The final amount will be charged according to the actual expenses. 3. Cost does not include air fare, visas, spending money, meals and any other miscellaneous personal expenses. 4. Meal cost is approximately CNY per day, depending on the variety of food and location. 5. Since the rooms of the Guest House are limited, applicants who apply early are more likely to get the rooms. 6. Current exchange rates: $1.00 USD= 6.32 CNY Guest House Local Cuisine Monorail
