1 Itinerary Delhi Kathmandu - Delhi 03 Nights / 04 Days Day 1 : Delhi Kathmandu Pick up from your place of stay in Delhi Transfer to Delhi Airport Meet upon arrival in Kathmandu Check-in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. In the morning, pick up from your place of stay in Delhi and transfer to Delhi airport to board flight 9W 260 at 1210 hrs. Meet on arrival at Kathmandu airport at 1425 hrs. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to your pre booked hotel. Welcome to Nepal! On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from our office will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel and help you check in. You will then be briefed about your daily activities. NEPAL officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is a mystical country nestled in the folds of the magnificent Himalaya mountain ranges. The people of Nepal can always be seen to be smiling. Nepal is a deeply religious country, as you will see in their temples, Monasteries and buildings. The fertile, mountain-sheltered Kathmandu Valley is the historic heart of Nepal, where the Himalaya's most sophisticated kingdoms rose and fell and where Nepali art and culture were developed and refined. In many ways the Kathmandu Valley is Nepal Overnight at the hotel. Day 2 Day 2: In Kathmandu Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath. Afternoon visit Patan Durbar Square. After Breakfast sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City and Swoyambhunath Kathmandu City: Known as Kantipur, the capital of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kashtamandap - the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty.

2 Swoyambhunath Stupa: Located approximately 4 kms. /2.5 miles, this Buddhist Stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples. Afternoon Sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square and Tibetan Handicraft Centre. Patan Durbar Square: Located about 5 km south of Kathmandu in the Kathmandu Valley, on the southern side of the Bagmati River, Patan is one of 3 royal cities in the valley. A destination for connoisseurs of fine arts, Patan is filled with wood and stone carvings, metal statues, ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples, and over 1200 monuments. The city of Patan is believed to have been built in the third century B.C. by the Kirat dynasty. It was expanded by Lichhavis in the 6th century A.D. and again by the Mallas in medieval period. Durbar Square, like its counterpart in Kathmandu, is an enchanting mélange of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a World Heritage Site, the former royal palace complex is the center of Patan s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. Overnight at hotel. Day 3 In Kathmandu Breakfast at the hotel. Full day visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. Bhadgaon: Also known as Bhaktapur meaning city of devotees, this place is the home of medieval art and architecture. Lying 14 kms. /9 miles east of Kathmandu City, this place was founded in the 9th Century and is shaped like a conch shell. The city is at the height of 4600 ft. above sea level. In Bhadgaon, you will visit the Durbar Square with its array of temples overlooked by the Palace of 55 windows built by King Bupatindra Malla. The Nyatapola Temple, also built by King Bhupatindra Malla, is the best example of Pagoda style and stands on five terraces on each of which stands a pair of figures - two famous strong men, two elephants, two lions, two griffins and two goddesses. Time permitting, a visit to the museum of Thanka painting can also be considered.

3 Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple dating back to 400 A.D. is one of the oldest Hindu Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is for the Hindus what Mecca is for the Muslims. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple built in Pagoda Style with gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Pashupatinath is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. You ll also be able to see cremation grounds that lie on the bank of Bagmati behind the temple. Boudhanath Stupa: One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal; Boudhanath is one of the holiest structures imposing a height of 36 meters with three massive level Mandala style platforms. It is surrounded by colourful buildings housing families creating a friendly enclosure. The Stupa is visited every year by tens of thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. Overnight at the hotel. Day 4 Kathmandu Delhi (Fly) Depart Delhi Breakfast at the hotel Check-out and transfer to Kochi airport Meet upon arrival at Delhi airport Drop to your place of stay in Delhi Post breakfast in time check-out from hotel and transfer to airport to board flight RA 205 at 0800 hrs to Delhi. Meet on arrival in Delhi at 0940 hrs and transfer to your place of stay. Recollect the golden memories NOTE: THE DRIVING TIMES MENTIONED IN THE PROPOSAL ARE APPROXIMATE AND AS PER NORMAL TRAFFIC CONDITIONS. SOMETIMES DUE TO MORE TRAFFIC / CONGESTIONS ON THE ROADS THE DRIVES MAY TAKE MORE TIME THAN MENTIONED.
