2 Philosophy Behind ZEN Reading Room Zen is a school of Buddhism, referred to in Chinese as Chán. Chán, in turn is derived from the Sanskrit word DhyAna, which, as we are aware, means "meditation Zen is a path to attainment of awakening - the path of enlightenment At Zen Reading Room, we believe that studying, just like meditation requires not only self discipline but also tranquillity. Hence our reading rooms are all scientifically designed to encourage an unencumbered reading experience. In today s fast paced world of cut throat competition, Zen wants to help each student achieve their full potential. Our world class amenities ensure that each and every student is surrounded by an environment that enables a zen-like concentration, helping the student at every step along the path to success

3 Advantage Nagpur The Orange City of Nagpur has become a huge education hub of Central India and will continue to grow in future. This is because: Nagpur is centrally located: it is at the Heart of our Country. It boasts of a true cosmopolitan population, with common spoken language being Hindi It s very well connected by road, rail and air The city has a peaceful atmosphere and is safe There are a large number of very good schools, colleges with excellent infrastructure. Nagpur has innumerable reputed coaching classes, with devoted teachers who are capable of shaping the future of students in today s cut throat competitive world.

4 Advantage Nagpur As a result there is a mad rush of students to Nagpur from Vidharbha Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh after their matriculation for getting admission in XI, XII and degree colleges. The students get admission in colleges and coaching centers but still there s no space devoted to studying: a place with proper facilities and amenities that boost study. Also, there are lots of factors that distract the students from dedicated studying. The main reasons for lack of such space are: the sky high cost of land or building and also the running cost to maintain and sustain an infrastructure with world class facilities. Realizing the importance of such facility for serving the student community at large, Dr. P.K.Jain, Dr. Jayshree Jain, and their children Aditi, Aditya and Shrey have decided to enter into this field to create an excellent learning ambience for the hardworking, ambitious students so that they can excel in their field of choice.

6 Dr. PK Jain (M.Sc. (Ichthyology), M.Sc. (Physiology), Ph.D., L.L.B., B.Ed.) Dr. Prakash Jain is a first generation self-made entrepreneur. An academician at heart, he is a doctorate in Zoology, and has taught for 30 years in Hislop College till his retirement in He is also an LLB. He is the proprietor of Aditya Auto Agencies since 1985, and deals in Hero Motorcycles. A noble man at heart, he has taken several initiatives to give back to society, like Aditya Vanikaran contributing to the Green Earth Movement and Ride Safe School - the 1stTwo Wheeler Driving School of India with an objective to save precious lives in Road accidents.

7 Dr. JP Jain (M.Sc., Ph.D., L.L.B., B.Ed.) Dr. Jayshree Jain is also a doctorate in Zoology. She was also a lecturer in Zoology till she chose to take over as the Administrator and Manager of Aditya Auto, ensuring a smooth running of the empire and a goodwill for Aditya that was to be everlasting. Since 2006, she has been the Managing Director of Just 4 Her scooter showroom and Director of Ride Safe School. Though by God s grace, she no longer needs to micro manage these initiatives; this leaves her free to involve herself in social work, and address various social events she is invited to.

8 MR. SHREY PUNYANI Shrey is a designer by heart and a marketer by qualification. With an MBA in Marketing and over 7 years of work experience in marketing and market research across international firms in Delhi, Shrey brings to our initiative a corporate professionalism and an unerring eye for detail. Shrey believes good design makes for happier people. In fact, he has designed the interiors of Zen Reading Room himself and through the motifs and the ergonomics, he has created a space that cultivates a zen-like environment that boosts concentration and helps students study better.

9 MS. ADITI JAIN Ms. Jain is an Architect who studied Communications Management from MICA, Ahmedabad and also has a B.A in English Literature. She has over 8 years of experience in management, strategic planning, social research, semiotics and advertising. Having been a teacher in the past, Aditi believes strongly in helping the student community to achieve their dreams and she feels Zen Reading Room is a meaningful step towards that purpose.

10 This combination is a potent one, that is sure to help the students of Nagpur achieve all their dreams. Our Businesses Aditya group is a very well known entity in Nagpur city. Dr. Prakash Jain is known for his foresight and multi tasking. Perhaps that is why Aditya group has always had multiple businesses, all being exceptionally successful. Dr. Jain has been a Hero Moto Corp two wheeler dealer since 1985, for most of this time he has been the No. 1 dealer of Central India. He also started Aditya Auto Park, an eco-friendly automobile workshop. Aditya group also consists of Just 4 Her, a women s only Hero showroom. They have also ventured into construction through Shruti Promoters. Besides this, Dr. Jain has undertaken various social initiatives like Aditya Vanikaran, an afforestation movement, and Ride Safe, India s first two wheeler riding school. Zen Reading Room, hence, is an effort that not only combines razor sharp administrative acumen accumulated over 30 years, but also incorporates a heartfelt need of giving back to the society that Aditya group is known for.

12 Three Classrooms Trinity Mosaic Helix The Library Origami Zen Reading Room has three rooms and a library. Each room is designed to augment concentration and is provided with all amenities that a student requires The entire centre is WiFi enabled The rooms are fully air conditioned with ample electrical sockets and ergonomic seating The arrangement is flexible so as to aid group study when required The soon-to-launch second phase shall include a pantry, and photocopying and printing facility.

13 The Bodhi Tree At Reception Serenity at reception: Our reception area has the symbol of the Bodhi Tree: the tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment. We are positive that our students will find peace at the very entrance!

14 Room 1: Trinity Comfy chairs and a cheery ambience.. 'Trinity', the cosiest room creates the perfect ambience to concentrate!

15 Room 2: Mosaic Room 3: Helix 'Mosaic': Stands for the kaleidoscope of students we welcome: they come from all possible streams and backgrounds and together make a pot pourri of enthusiasm! Calm and peaceful, 'Helix' has an atmosphere of serenity across... The circles represent the absolute concentration that the room encourages the student to cultivate!

16 The Library: Origami Just like Origami (the Japanese art of paper folding) translates a piece of paper into a beautiful piece of art, we believe books can transform each student into a goldmine of possibilities. Which is why we call our Library 'Origami 3
