5 First homage to Ta-re swift and fearless with eyes that flash like lightning lotus-born from an ocean of tears of Chen-re-zik, three worlds protector. Page 5 of 25

6 Second homage to you whose face is like one hundred autumn moons gathered and blazes with the dazzling light of a thousand constellations. Page 6 of 25

7 Third homage to you born from a gold-blue lotus hand adorned with a lotus flower essence of: giving, zeal, NON-violence, patience, mindfulness and insight. Page 7 of 25

8 Fourth homage to you who crown all Buddhas whose action subdues without limit attained to every perfection on you the Bo-dhi-sat-tvas rely. Page 8 of 25

9 Fifth homage to you whose Tu-ta-re and Hung fill the realms of desire, form and space you crush seven worlds beneath your feet and have power to call all forces. Page 9 of 25

11 Page 11 of 25 Mantra s meaning homage to the glorious one who frees with Ta-re; with Tu-ta-re you calm all fears; you bestow all success with Tu-re; with the sound of Sö-ha I pay homage.

13 Page 13 of 25 Appendix Benefits of performing the Twenty-one Homages once every morning AND once every evening Those endowed with perfect and pure respect for these Yi-dams

14 Page 14 of 25 Yi-dams Although most Tantric fundamentalists would define the Tibetan term Yidam or the Sanskrit term Deva as meditational deity (that far too often is treated as some sort of celestial Santa Clause), in this context this liberal Tantrika would define Yidam or Deva as the enlightened archetypes whose: syllable, mantra, body and paradise of light illustrate the non-graspable experience of our awareness, communication, physiques and circumstances.

23 Page 23 of 25 Benefits of performing the Twenty-one Homages thrice every morning AND thrice every evening for seven consecutive days If for oneself or for the sake of others, these praises are recited sincerely two, three, and seven times
