Explain the Hindu beliefs about life after death and compare these beliefs to other religious beliefs you know about. 4. Compare Hindu wedding ceremonies those from other religious/non-religious groups. 5. Evaluate how effective you think a Hindu wedding is and explain your reasons why. Describe some of the things that happen at a Sikh wedding. 2. Explain the significance of the Gurdwara and Guru Granth Sahib in the ceremony. 3. Compare the wedding to another religious wedding ceremony and explain why they are both similar/different. Evaluate which wedding is more effective at highlighting the love between a couple and including religion in the day. Be able to articulate how far they agree with key beliefs and values studied (AO2)

Compare pilgrimage to the golden temple to another form of religious pilgrimage (maybe hajj). Evaluate which is seen to be the most important for religious people and why. Explain why the Buddha is important within. Use specific examples and key words. You will need to talk about his early life, suffering, the four noble truths and the eightfold path. I expect that you will write about a page if not more in answer to this as it covers everything we have looked at in this unit so far. 2. You need to explain how compares to another religion. You need to compare the role of God, the role of the key person (Buddha in this case), the key teachings (four noble truths and eightfold path). 3. Challenge extension: You need to research the Buddhist views on life after death and compare these views to Christianity. Be able to articulate how far they agree with key beliefs and values studied (AO2)
