It is in alignment with the word of God. It has helped me interpret my own dreams by giving me somewhere to start. By looking up each word in the dream; it has given me a feel for what God is trying to tell to me. Every detail in a dream has meaning. The person having the dream is the only one who can truly know if the revelation speaks to them or not. Sometimes God needs to warn us in order to prevent us from many things that could hinder our walk with him or even to protect us in many ways.(1cor 15:46) A lot of times he likes to

3 encourage us. Whatever the dream or vision, you can be sure that the Lord your God loves you enough to speak to you in this way. Consider what he is saying; for he will give you understanding in everything.(2tim 2:7, 1Cor 2:10) Not all dreams are from God. Satan is a Jack of all trades but master of none! He will try to distort the things of God but, he can only mock the Lord. God will not wake you up with fear or tell you something leaving you feeling condemned. Dreams from the devil will be foggy sometimes. If Satan is tormenting you or someone you know; take dominion over your mind and ask Jesus to take every thought captive and that you have the mind of Christ.(Phil 4:7, 2Cor 10:5, 1Cor 2:16) Pray and ask God if there are any open doors (that the devil is coming in) that need to be closed. I am always on the look out for books like this one. I have been having dreams of all kinds since I was a small child but learning to "interpret" them has always been scary since most books written are from a secular and/or pagan perspective...which can sometimes be a gateway into a spiritual realm that I care not to enter. So, let me simplify this a bit by giving you the pros and cons about this book:cons: Sometimes I feel like the authors approach certain subjects with an unnecessary air of controversy. I was sometimes distracted by the shock of a statement only to continue reading and find out I agreed with them...at least most of the time. This kind of approach may be needed for some people, but I found it distracting. I also wish that there was a little more time spent on the how-to of recording dreams and identifying the "theme" of a dream. (Especially since the authors have extensive experience with this gift.)...but then, I am an extreme detail person, always wanting thorough explanation of such concepts and you may feel their approach is perfect.pros: That being said, what I really appreciate about this book is the authors' many references to the absolute necessity of knowing the Word of God BEFORE ever trying to interpret a dream, how key it is that the concepts of any interpretation MUST coincide with Scripture if it can be given any weight at all, and how learning these skills is, first and foremost, an exercise in discerning the voice of the Holy Spirit. I also love their simple presentation of the dream symbol dictionary. I love that they give the Scripture references that led them to most of the interpretations of the symbols. (Although I do wish they had included the "names and places" portion in the main dictionary for those of us using this tool on an ereader or tablet.)all in all, this is a wonderful tool for the "seer" or "dreamer" who is keenly aware that dreams are more than just something that keeps our minds busy during the night. I am thrilled to add it to my library. I think it's a worthy addition and decently easy to read. I was challenged on many levels and blessed. It was so easy to use the reference guide in the back of the book. I love that the reference guide was updated for modern use. I impressed that I could find out the meaning of a cell phone as well as a mop. The reference guide is the best I've found. I think this is an amazing book and very thoroughly written. My favorite section is, of course, the symbol suggestion guide where you can look up what people/places/object/names could mean - each with a variety of possibilities and the corresponding Bible verses. You decide what you think it means yourself.my only quibble - author says EVERY single dream is from God. What?! Yes, even the ones were you had a spicy meal before you went to bed. Granted, I agree with him when he says most people discount those spicy food dreams as you should never discount a dream until it has been judged. I would agree with Perry Stone who wrotehow to Interpret Dreams and Visions: Understanding God's warnings and guidanceâ that dreams may come from different sources:1. Spirit of God2. from the flesh3. fiery mental darts (Ephesians) that can create a dream from the presence of an unclean spirit, which may shoot an arrow into a believer's mind when he is asleep.i believe some dreams occur from different sources. It happened to me. I had been fasting/praying/repenting and believed to be in spiritual warfare. Within 1 week I had the same repeated dream that would change slightly. Once I was in a knock out fight with a crazy woman and the dream ended before I could see who won though we were equally matched. Then the next dream showed me surrounded by mocking boys trying to bully me and start a fight when I suddenly got 4 times taller than them and warned them I knew ninja (hey, its a dream!). They seemed afraid but where going to fight me anyways when I awoke. The 3rd dream I was held hostage with people in a small warehouse by gunmen. They had already killed people. One saw me and pointed the gun at me but I kicked him in the face with my shoes that had cleats on them. I heard that the gunman's face was a mess and he ended up in the hospital but not before dropping his gun. According to this book, the repeated dream means a repeated message from the Lord that is very important. Fighting can mean spiritual warfare. I can see from the progression that I was indeed wining the battle. (At this time I was reading the scriptures more than usual which if you look in Ephesians it says to shod your feed with the gospel!) Next night I had a sexual dream which also had various symbols that

5 seemed to say I was under bondage and walking in the flesh according to the book. Wait a minute? What?!I woke up feeling distressed as if I had done something wrong and so I prayed for guidance. I was so discouraged but I came across Perry Stone's book where he says not all dreams are from God. I had a feeling I believed that before but it was good to hear from someone who walks in the Spirit of the Lord. I believe the last dream was a fiery dart from the enemy to discourage my progress - which would've worked if I believed every dream from the Lord. Perry Stone is not the only one who says not every dream is from the same source. I do believe repeated sexual dreams could, like this book suggest, mean spiritual oppression or a warning but they could also be darts from the enemy.as believers of Christ, we should not live and die by our dreams. We should walk in the Word and Spirit. This is a great book to be used and all Christians should own even if I don't agree with the "Every Dream from God" thought the author proposes. When the dream is from our Heavenly Father this book is pretty spot on and definitely one of the best dream books out there.
