1 Demanding Justice Hamian-HRs, Campaign Letter - To Authorities in Iran. We encourage everyone to write to Iranian authorities and demand the immediate release of Activists. It takes Only one letter to trigger one decision, to secure Freedom for someone like Narges Mohammadi One letter! For someone s Freedom! Innocents like Iranian Human-Rights-Defenders/Activists like Narges Mohammadi. You can write short, long, formal or informal, however you feel more convincing, encourage or force them into action!!. You can easily find their contact details online or find it in our campaigns. We believe we can be a force for good, a great help to those now unjustly suffering jail only because they are passionate about human rights! Please do this, I guarantee you it is worth spending some times to write to them, for Narges, or for any other activists you like, or for dual national like Nazanin. It would be helpful & appreciated Hamian-HRs, May To; The Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran, *And; His office, And Advisors To The Leader, *And Mr Larijani; The Head Of The Judiciary, Re: Human Rights Defenders/Activists; unjustly-prosecuted, now being held behind bars, unjustly suffering! Demanding Case-Review & Immediate Release! - Also suggesting how to save/help Iran, and Iranian (also yourself) by releasing/enabling activists! 1

2 We are writing to you firstly to request a Case-Review of 'Narges Mohammadi' and other activists; as explained/mentioned in this letter. As you may know, she is prominent Iranian human-rights -defenders/activist (and despite you may not like this but is a fact that; Narges is a true HERO for million of Iranian and many more around the world! simply because she has done nothing wrong but to defend human rights... suffering now behind bars only because she is a good human helping the people. She has never done anything unlawful (even according to law of Islamic Republic). She is imprisoned only because the security forces and justice system didn't like what she was saying in public! Last time Narges arrested she was speaking in a gathering with the mother of 'Sattar Beheshti' and before she was taken by security forces (its video is in public domain) she was demanding to implement the law! not to disregard the law! We know you may not like when Narges was exposing extrajudicial punishments by security forces and by your justice system, BUT it does not warrant you to arrest then to prosecute (without due process) then send her to 16 years of prison! Only (and simply) because you don't like what she says?! It is not only us who follow her case (and the case of other activists) but majority of public despise what you have done to her, separating her from her children, and doing the same to many other activists, for years How could you expect the aware people of Iran not acting against you?! Not everyone has the perseverance and patient of these activists themselves that despite what you have done to them they still calling for dialogue and reform and peace, even from inside of your prisons! They are true Heroes and each another Nelson Mandela of Iran, not any less! When many (like the Supreme Leader of Iran) believe the Hunger Strike of Irish Bobby Sands should be appreciated, then why you are indifferent when Golrokh Araie (another activists in Prison) was in hunger Strike demanding justice. and many more doing the same right now, Did you made yourselves available to get to know them, their case and their sufferings?! On the day of Narges Mohammadi's arrest, she was speaking regarding Sattar Beheshti, (with his mother in public) while she was arrested she was talking about implementing the law and not acting against the law!! Being Fair & Frank; We all know that you can repeat your usual talking point about the justice system that it never does politically-charged prosecutions, it is independent, just & fair, -yes you can repeat that- BUT it won't help you anymore as people seeing the reality, whether in Narges Mohammadi's case, or in other activists, 2

3 imprisoned to be silenced - and not because did anything illegally! So please even if you don't want to be frank with people, then be that to yourselves!! The curious case of safeguarding the country (!?) Disastrous for many innocents and for you; a very bad PR(!); You may say that they are in prison because you have a job and that is to defend the country; but I am to inform you when you crush legitimate activists (like Narges) then you give the whole ground to those who are presenting themselves as Human-Right-Activists but in fact they are actively active for political benefit of Saudi and other Iran hawk in west & in Iran, the like of MEK who introduce themselves as HR defenders and demanding sanctions and war on Iran! So however you look, you are dis-servicing to the country; by imprisoning these innocent activists. Look we (or I as an example) may don't like you because your injustices in the system that you represent, but still we do not act simply out of hate! We don't want Iran to be separated or innocent people suffer by foreign sanctions, we don't want Iran being a weak state in a volatile neighborhood. In fact, when no one listens to you (because of your injustice and your bad image globally) it is us -the activists in exile or inside the country- who are fighting those who are making the case for war or sanctions on people, because this is human rights and what we are passionate about. It is us who expose the lies of (the like of) Netanyaho or MBS or MEK, it is us the activists that you prosecute & imprison!. Despite many of us ran away from Iran, to be safe out of reach of your justice system & Iran's security forces; yet we are not enemy of Iran! because we fight for justness, not disastrous excitements! We want reform and the like of you gone from the power! and new people come who respects Human Rights and manage the country, BUT if you really can change yourselves & your system, then we would work with anyone for the betterment of Iranian & Iran, for human rights and Peace. The point about the above paragraph is; you crush & imprison the activists who are passionate & knowledgeable & intelligent, and leave the ground empty for the enemy of the country who introduce themselves as HR activists and making the case for sanctions on people and disastrous war, (because they 3

4 don't know any better and some do that for their own benefit or for the benefit of their ideology or their backers... So understand this that you are letting the country (and its people) down! You make Iran weaker internationally by human-rights-violation and by abuse of power on these shameful prosecutions. Stop this now to avoid further damage to the country, its people and even to avoid a disaster for yourselves, Now! Releasing Activists apart from that you must do that because they are innocent would benefit you, too! I am to inform you that holding her (and other activists like Golrokh & Arash, Soltani and others) not only would NOT help the governing system in Iran but actually it is causing you pain much greater than you may realize now as people are getting angrier every day over these injustices.. Every single day that you hold innocents behind bars, more people are turning against the system as the whole, fighting with greater force to correct this wrong, this might lead to a sudden explosion which could be unmanageable for the system (as we see here & there around the country. but there is another way; correct these wrongs! start now, secure freedom for Narges & other activists, let them act. let people speak. open up to critics & reform. Reform yourself *Starting with the judiciary which is being seen by the majority of the public as the most corrupt institution in Iran. I am stating the above just to explain that it would be to your benefit too to free those unjustly-prosecuted by the judiciary, BUT you should also do that for being just & fair, assume it is you or your family being separated and held behind bars; suffering!... It might happen to anyone even to you! look at the history, how many powerful people ended up in prison?! So you cannot be relaxed if you do not change course now. Release them. let them be reunited with their family. Narges has two children, they are anxiously waiting for their mum, (again assume it is your own child!) you can make them the happiest child on earth if you start acting now! you have the power. So, please, find the courage to start now; review their case, start the process of their immediate release now. One more thing to make my case (asking for the release of human rights activists), earlier I mentioned it could happen to anyone -even those now in great power!- if one day, you/your family ended up being held behind bars, do you know would come to fight for your rights?! of course it would be the same human rights defenders (that you are unjustly imprisoning now!) 4

5 One day, in future, if you, yourselves being imprisoned [!] the same activist you are [extrajudicially] punishing [now], would come defending your rights [!]; History proven no one can predict what would happen, many politician & powerful figures found themselves in prison! I f you being held up behind bars, It would be some activists like Narges who would come to the defence of your rights! your human Rights!... It is what they do, what they are passionate about, whether it is the mother of 'Sattar Beheshti' or if it is your mother! same for them, Narges and Nargesses(!) will come to help you/your family too!! you may think oh that is irrelevant never happen to me & to us in high positions, but I again I urge you to look at history!!!!! (not thousand years ago! no, just years and decades ago, look what happened to politician & authorities who didn't listen to people's pain & suffering and their request; So, here is our request; Act now for the immediate release of Narges Mohammadi and other Human Rights Defenders - Now and Now! And start structural reforms, deep & drastic!! Unlike many; we do think you are wise educated & capable of doing the right thing, that's why we are writing to you, But please acknowledge that (whether you like it or not); you have no option but to change the course, as public -with the flow of information- would not accept these extrajudicial punishment... No one sees himself as a bad human being Or seeing that he/she is making a great mistake! You also thought/think doing the right thing (imprisoning activists or setting up this unjust-system..) but you actually did make lots of unjustifiable mistakes. You can not change the past, but you can influence the future, START TODAY! You never interned into a dialogue with the people you don't like or agree with, someone like us, but you can not continue the same path as people will not allow the status quo! You may be with the people and be with the justness or be crushed just like your critics who are suffering in jail for no meaningful reason apart from making up some rough political charges to silence them. Yes you may ended up the same IF you stick to your old way of seeing and acting!! Again(!); however you present it, it is what it is, what is clear to majority of people around the world and inside the country; that you are silencing critics and judiciary and security forces are doing whatever they think is a right thing to do (and usually they are short sided to see the consequences and did not learn the better way to engage with activists, and being just rather that oppressive). Please acknowledge that, they are proven facts (which we can go on emphasizing hundreds of examples), accept it, stop it and change the course! 5

6 Again(!); The immediate release of Narges Mohammadi & other Human Rights Defenders, Now and Now!... Plus start structural reforms, deep & drastic!! (the real one - not pretending to listen and act, but actually to listen and act! and doing it now while you as public has no patient for your old way of reforms! or your old way of 'Review a Case' (!!), do it for real, promptly, release them, start a dialogue with activists & your critics to save yourself and Iran!! I would appreciate having your prompt reply after considering this letter. Thank you.
