Seven Trumpets and Seven Vials

1 Vol. 41 No. 5 Printed Voice of Faith Assembly July, 2009 Seven Trumpets and Seven Vials Rev. Raymond M. Jackson A sister gave a testimony the other day, about talking to a man. His conversation came down to where he said, Well, we believe there will be somebody rise on the scene that will take all the loose ends and tie them together, especially the trumpets and vials and things like that. I remember when Bro. Branham preached the seals. Shortly after the seals were preached he said, I plan to bring a message on the trumpets next, but when the time came he said the Lord told me it is not time. This morning I would like for you to turn with me to the 6 th chapter of Revelation. We are going to take these verses of scripture and place them out on the chart where they actually fit into the time factor. If you notice the 6 th chapter, this was a chapter from which Bro. Branham took all the texts when he preached on the seals up and through the sixth seal. If you notice the seventh seal does not follow in succession, like four follows three and five follows four. There has got to be a reason why it doesn t. If you notice the 7 th chapter, from right here to here (pointing to chart) we are dealing with the last week of time. That is the seventieth week of Daniel. The first half, then the last half. We have enlarged this because there are a lot of scriptures that have to fall into this space. We do know, in 1963 Bro. 2 seals, the revelation of six seals up to a point. Since then we have been journeying to this point, getting closer all the time to that hour. The book of Revelation is written as the angel of the Lord more or less dictated it to John. Notice, we end in the 6 th chapter with the sixth seal, but the sixth seal is not applied right here. The revelation of it comes here, but the sixth seal fulfillment comes in over here, right where the physical return of the Lord becomes a reality. That is why Matthew 24says, Immediately after the tribulation of those days, because that is right here at the close of that week, shall the sun be darkened, so on and so forth. Then the Son of Man will be revealed from heaven in flaming fire. He comes under the sixth seal, He comes under the seventh trumpet, and He comes under the seventh vial. There are not three instances of His coming at that time, not in that sense, because His coming at the end of the week of Daniel, fulfills all three. The seventh seal is applicable right here, before the week of Daniel opens. That is why that seal was not broken, and was not revealed when the first six were. When the seventh seal is broken, that is when the Bride will receive a revelation of the mystical coming of Christ, which is not the physical, but it is the mystical coming of Christ when the Church is raised, resurrected and meets Him in the air. That is consummated under the seventh seal and the seven thunders. Actuality, when we read the book of Revelation, I have said this, you have got to read it according to each chapter and the picture of Revelation it contains. It does not always follow in succession like numbers follow other numbers. It is a picture. God has let it be revealed that way or written that way. He knew as we would come down to the end time theologians would do their best to misconstrue this and that. Brothers and Sisters, it is so written that only the true Bride ministry and Bride will see it in a true revelation, because God will make sure they everyone understand it. Actually the book of Revelation has been a love letter given to the Church in the first century, for the Church to carry right on through time. Then, right here at the ending of time, as we come toward that seventieth week of Daniel, that is when God starts pulling out of the written contents the true understanding of it all, to acquaint the end time element of people with the understanding of how to relate themselves to time. Let us just look back, from 1963 and onward when the revelation of the first six seals was actually given, and then to the things that Bro. Branham said, which caused many of his followers to make a mess of confusion out of it all. They have turned it into everything but a true revelation. 3 all seven seals have already been revealed, it is just that we do not see it yet. We have not found it yet. Well saints, I have what Bro. Branham said right here when he dealt with that seventh seal in the manner he did. It was not broken like the other six were: it was not revealed and it is not going to be broken or revealed until that precise time for it to be, as the age closes out. We have to understand that, or we will not be ready for the ending as God has it specified. Once that seventh seal is broken, it means Christ is ready to leave His mediatory position and come for His bride. He will no longer be High Priest. When that seal is broken, the scroll that is in His hand will then be opened, or rolled out. Intercession will no longer be a part of His ministry. He is ready to be revealed on earth in angelic form, to absolutely fulfill the revelation of what the seal contains and the beginning of the sounding of those thunders. The thunders will acquaint the true Bride Church with the mystical return of Christ, and the full purpose of it all. To understand this and get the picture of each chapter, we have to acquaint ourselves with the span of time we have been living in, a span of time since 1963, and this is in front of us somewhere, from 1963 to here. We have been living in this span of time. We do know what the six seals contain, but we know nothing about the seventh one nor the thunders. As we look at these trumpets and vials, we notice this, that the 7 th chapter follows right in here, following the revelation of the sixth seal. The 7 th chapter looks like we move immediately into this time frame where this angel is ascending from the east, but I want to read this. And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth. Well where is the four corners of the earth? It is not on the north and south pole. It is in the Middle East. It is the Euphrates River valley area. It is very strange we have just been involved in a war over there, right in that four corners of the earth area. It goes to show, that once again time has swung around as the world s heartache and turmoil is beginning to spring up within the Middle East, the Euphrates area. I heard it said this morning on Fox News, that some Muslim said the main cause of the friction that is in the world today, is this political friendship between the United States and Israel. If that did not exist, the Muslims and the rest would probably go along pretty much open minded. This goes to show, the Muslim religion is completely anti Jewish, anti Judaistic, and anti law and everything else that the Jews stand for. Because America has, in the past, been more of a Christian nation, and has stood up for the Jews in the light of all these involvements. Then that only causes the world, sentimentally, to become more anti-semitic and more hateful 3 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

4 toward the United States. As this builds up momentum, we have got to begin to realize we are moving close to that time frame when this turmoil in the Middle East will never cease. It is just like a pool of troubled waters. It is going to be troubled, it is going to be stirred, and it is going to be antagonized. It is going to get worse and worse until one day God sets everything in motion to bring it to a complete end. Normally we would think, Well you move chapter 7 right in to follow chapter 6, because we think that number should be there. But when you look at the fact that the seventh seal is not in here, yet the 7 th chapter follows, it makes it look like time has moved right off into this future era already, but it has not. You everyone know that. It just goes to show this whole book has to be put together in a precise manner, that only the Spirit of God can accomplish. We printed an article years ago titled, Chronology of Revelation, when I began to separate certain verses of scripture out of chapters and put them in chronological order of the revelation of it, and one person thought, Oh Bro. Jackson, you are doing wrong now, you are changing the word of God. No, I am not changing it, I am just putting it where it needs to be according to the picture, not according to the numbers of chapters and verses. It was God who dictated it the way it is written, but the way it is fulfilled has to be understood, not from the chapter numbers, but from the revelation they contain. In that light, we are moving very close to the time frame we have been talking about. That means, as we do move close to this time frame, we are moving close to the time the 7 th chapter will come into play, but keep in mind that the 11 th chapter also comes in here. That is why we have it written right here on our chart. I am going to ask you to turn with me to the 8 th chapter, at this time. If you take the 8 th chapter and the 1 st verse and put the 1 st verse right here ahead of verse 1 in chapter 10, you will see that the 1 st verse of each chapter is what unlocks the application of it all. How many understand that? Keep in mind, chapter 7 and chapter 11 both fall right in here, but the application of them will never be until the seventh seal is opened, and that is Revelation 8:1. We know then, that the seventh seal has to be opened back here, for the bride to hear the thunders. Is that not right? You do not carry that over here. It has to take place back here prior to what happens in chapter 7 and chapter 11. That is where some go wrong, trying to see the fulfillment of chapter 8, verse 1 right in line with how it is recorded in the Bible. You cannot do that. Until the Spirit of God gives revelation on these things, we do not know how to place them in their order of fulfillment. Let us look at it this picture. 5 chapter 8, the 1 st verse, the time when that seventh seal is opened, we will know it is opened, because the thunders are sounded. You can rest assured the 1 st verse of chapter 8, is in fulfillment when that happens. How many realize that? Listen, And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. Within the Branham movement they have written, they have discussed and said, Oh the half hour of silence is such and such, Oh I know what it is and so forth. They know no more about it than a coon dog. (That is my hillbilly expression. But I will say this to make it simple.) Do you realize, twenty five hundred years ago the scene in heaven as John saw it in Revelation 4 and 5 did not even exist? Because Jesus had not yet come into existence to sit on the throne of God. How many realize that? When Isaiah wrote about seeing the throne of God and all them angelic beings, that was only a prophecy to be. Because it is incomplete. Then when you go to Ezekiel and you see Ezekiel later has seen the same thing, but it is a little more complete, yet it is still incomplete, Why? It is because neither scene showed the twenty four elders. Go back and read them. When you see the scenes in Isaiah 6, I believe it is, and in Ezekiel 1:26, you still do not see that scene complete, as John saw it. It is only a preview of something yet to be. But we will say, Five hundred years later after what Ezekiel had seen, Jesus ascended into heaven. He ascended into heaven to be positioned on the right hand of God in authority and power and to be a mediator. From then on those elders of the Old Testament could begin to take their position around this throne. But as the apostles came along in their hour and they began to be martyred, one by one, their spirits began to ascend and they too are recognized on those thrones. Therefore for not quite two thousand years, that scene has been a prophecy in the making. I have to say, When the day did come that Jesus did ascend into heaven to take that position, we do not know what all the reaction or the sound was. But that was the beginning of a scene that heaven had never seen before. Once it started though, it was then a scene that wherever the angelic beings assembled or looked, they are going to see that scene. It has been that way for almost two thousand years. But the day is coming when Jesus, as the Eternal Spirit gives to Him the authority to break that seventh seal, when it is broken, intercessory, the priesthood is ended. Then, there is no longer a necessity for Him to sit in that position, because grace for Gentiles has come to an end. 5 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

6 WHEN GRACE FOR GENTILES HAS ENDED When Jesus leaves that intercessory throne He can then come forth and begin to set the stage for the gathering of His Bride. After sitting there for almost two thousand years and the angelic host having seen it that way through the decades, it is not even written what would be said. That is why it is silence in heaven for about the space of half an hour. I just have to say this, The minute He opens that seventh seal, it is logical for me to look at it in this light, because the seal is open, the scroll is unfurled in His hand, so now He can step away from that throne of intercession, never to return. Do you not think all the angelic host is going to look and wonder what is about to take place? Rather than screaming, it got quiet. Down here on earth, you and I are claiming to be a little part of that end time Bride, and I say this as humbly as I know how, when that silence takes place in heaven, it is going to bring some vibrations on earth. It is going to bring some stimulation in the hearts of a ministry. There is going to rise into their spiritual intellect and understanding, what has happened, because that is why I say, When Bro. Branham started bringing the revelation of those six seals, he read in the 5 th chapter how he saw that Lamb come forth to take the scroll out of the hand of Him that was on the throne. There was power delegated to Him which was on the throne, which is none other than Jesus Christ in His immortal figure, the authority to wrap up everything pertaining to that junction in time. That scripture does not mean it was literally a lamb that stepped forth. The Lamb is only figurative of the sacrificial work of Christ Jesus when He had offered Himself as a sacrifice for all lost mankind when He was on earth, not because He was going to be King. He did not break the first six seals because He was going to be King: He was given the authority to break them on the virtue that He had been the sacrificial Lamb of God. However at that same time he was announced, Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Therefore let us just take a look over here, at the end time. Did you know, the Jehovah Witness people have written their views about the four horsemen. The Seventh Day Adventist have done it also, but none of them had the true picture. I have read them all: even what Billy Graham published about them. In 1962 and 1963, when God began to deal with Bro. Branham and give him the revelation of this and the way God dealt with him was unique. He went out to Arizona and into the Sabeno Canyon, and the best that he has tried to describe the experience of how God revealed this to him there is still much we do not 6 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

7 know. Some of the people that followed him everywhere he went, have gone out there to the Sabeno Canyon and they almost hauled it all away. At one time I was told that the authorities had closed it down, because they were going up there and breaking off chips of rock and hauling it out. That movement has become just like the Catholic Church. The Catholics claim to have the nails that hung Jesus on the cross. They have the sword that did this and they have the spear that did that and so forth. That is total carnality. Nevertheless as we move toward the end time, there is going to be a time when Jesus Himself will be given the unction and authority to break the seventh seal. When He does, intercessory work for the priesthood is over. On earth at that time, the last predestinated person has already been called into the Bride. By then, the Bride on earth will have been dealt with and will become more and more perfected and united, and the virtues and attributes of the true Spirit of God will begin to be cultivated in our personal lives, one toward another. Then when that seal is broke in heaven, we do not have to know what that time of silence meant up there, but we can say, it has to be something simple, not something outstanding that we have to have a college degree to understand. Well what was it? I have to say, When He breaks that seal and is ready to step forth, don t tell me that the angels won t stand back and gasp, What is about to take place? Something is going to be communicated here on earth. The Branham following is thinking that, and this is why they have held for thirty nine years that Bro. Branham has to come back. Well Bro. Branham is not coming back to fulfill anything. He completed what he was called of God to do. Nevertheless regardless of how many false ideas some may have, there is a people here on earth that is going to make up that true Bride. They are going to have a mind and mentality to look to the future, not back to the past. In my files at home I have three written articles about the seventh seal. I have never read one to completeness because it gets disgusting. One man starts in Genesis and comes through this, then he comes through that. When you read it, it is a confused picture. Yet the title of it is, The revelation of the seventh seal. When Bro. Branham brought the revelation of the first six seals, it was simple, very simple. He did not use words that had to be understood from the dictionary. Now concerning the seventh seal I just have to say, When that seventh seal is broken in heaven, it is going to bring to the Bride Church a truly humble and unique understanding of the plan of God. We will not have to ask When will this happen, When will that happen, nor why. We are going to 7 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

8 know precisely, when and why, because we are going to know exactly, by what is revealed by the seven thunders. Intercession by Jesus the Christ is over when He leaves that position He has had for two thousand years. When He has completed the selection of His Bride, we who are chosen will be in position, ready to hear the thunders. Once the thunders have sounded, the Bride will be ready to move across that line, because world conditions will necessitate it. Something will have taken place in world affairs that will necessitate the week of Daniel to start. That is exactly why Paul wrote 2 nd Thessalonians like he did. When he said, Now concerning the coming of the Lord and our gathering together unto Him. It is true the doctors of divinity and theologians want to be different toward the rapture, approaching it as a theory while they say the word rapture is not in the Bible. That is true, because the word rapture is just a human way of referring to the catching away of the Bride Saints as she is being taken out of this world. That is why Paul said, that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. That is not referring to the apostasy that has been going on for so long: it means the whole world society will develop and cultivate an anti God and an anti religion attitude. It is an open, national rebellion against the whole concept of God. With that in mind we have to realize, God is going to communicate to His people. Now we are in the 8 th chapter of Revelation, and the seal seventh seal has been broken, and the thunders have been sounded, and the Bride now has the revelation she has waited for and is now moving across this line, which puts time within the week of Daniel. The 7 th chapter and the 11 th chapter, and the rest of the 8 th chapter all lay right in here, ready to start fulfillment. That is the way you have to look at it, so let us see what happens as we go on into the 8 th chapter. FUTURE HAPPENINGS We are going to look at the trumpets and notice what each one announces. Chapter 8, verse 2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. In the scriptures, what does a trumpet signify? It has many meanings. This is why Paul, in 1 st Corinthians 13 said, Now if the trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to battle? So trumpets have always been used as a signal, a symbol, or there is death, or the day is closing. Therefore the trumpet has been an instrument all through the centuries 8 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

9 of time, to signify something. In this sense we can say, The trumpet is a symbol to the world, warning, warning, and we will look at that. The revelation of the seals to the Bride was not a warning. It is informative. It lets us know we are moving toward that certain end. The world doesn t realize it, but we do. Let me say, Once the trumpets are set in place and ready to begin sounding, let us notice how these fit in with the vials. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, (Notice what is involved in this. We are right in the beginning of Daniel s seventieth week. The Bride on earth is now ready to be translated.) that he should offer it (this incense) with the prayers of all saints. I have to say this, That is not the saints of heaven, it is the saints still here on earth. Do not tell me, if you and I are really spiritually enlightened, and we are in that end time Bride element, when we begin to see what is getting ready to move into Israel, because those two prophets are coming upon the scene, that we are going to sit back twiddling our thumbs. No, Your heart is going to be bubbling over, I want to get out of here. There is going to be prayer on our part. Because you will be able to look at the conditions and know, the end is here. So do not tell me you are not going to pray anymore. Your prayers are absolutely going to be uttered in such a firm way that all will be heard. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it unto the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. (Preliminary judgment is getting ready to sound.) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. (Not simultaneously, but in a precise order.) The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. Now listen carefully, as we go to this week of Daniel. Right here it starts. (Pointing to chart, where it showed the week of Daniel opening up.) When I read to you what the anointing in the 11 th chapter allows the two prophets to do, you will see that it is almost the same thing. Well what does that tell me? Is the prophets going to be allowed to smite the earth with a certain kind of plagues, then the trumpet sounds and other things follow? No. What the trumpet sounds is in the spirit world. Keep that in mind. By the way, I saw in the Arutz News, there is a section right now in old Jerusalem, the Jews are ready to rebuild it. It is going to raise a stink. It is an area where the Jews used to live predominantly. But in 1948 the Jews were kicked out of there, now here we are in 2004, and that one 9 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

10 designated part of old Jerusalem, the Jews have the rebuilding of it in their mind. I just thought, that don t mean it is starting, but in the natural mind of the Jew when he begins to see the fact, then the hour will come when necessity will lay on his heart, and that is when they will rebuild Jerusalem. These little thoughts that are floating in their minds, that is not wild dreams, they are looking toward the future. Right now, let us look at this scripture, The first angel sounded, he blew his trumpet. It is a warning, but how is that warning carried out? Let us turn to the 11 th chapter. It goes to show they go together. In the 3 rd verse of the 11 th chapter, And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. So they are going to have the authority to defend their position and their duty while they are in this period of time pronouncing the judgment side. Notice this, These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy. Well where does that come from? That comes from that warning trumpet. How many realize that? You do not have these events, one here and one more over here. When we see how these trumpets line up, then the vials come in and blend right in here to close the whole week of time out, and at the end of that week, you are going to see Jesus, the actual physical coming we have talked about, and we know He comes under the sixth seal, the seventh trumpet and the seventh vial. They are not scattered out. They are stacked, one on top of the other. It is not three events of His physical coming, there is only one. The effects of the trumpets and vials are intermingled. Keep in mind, the trumpets are warnings, but there are certain flags that begin to drop. That is God s warning to the world. But what are the vials? That is His wrath. That is when, whatever the warnings were, become a fulfilled reality and God pours it out in full force. Now let us go back to the 8 th chapter, where we come to the second trumpet. Verse 8, And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood. Does it not tell you in Revelation 11 that the two prophets will have power to turn waters to blood? Do you not have that picture already? It came by that trumpet. So each trumpet that blows, I can see the anointing on these prophets. It just begins to magnify and step itself up. And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third 10 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

11 part of the ships were destroyed. Now let me say this, These plagues and judgments that are brought in Israel by their ministry and the sounding of these trumpets, are not a global world wide thing. How many understand that? They are basically in the Middle East. That is what you have to see. We come now to the third warning. It is a trumpet. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; (Where? The Middle East.) And the name of the star is called Wormwood: (God did this in ancient biblical times, so why would he not do it again?) and the third part of the waters became wormwood; any many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. That is the third angel s trumpet. Watch, how it is one, two, three. That leads you to the middle of the week. But when the fourth one is blowing, it is not the ministry of the two prophets. It has a celestial effect because it is tied to when the beast comes in and kills them and their dead bodies lie in the streets of Jerusalem for three days and a half. Just as Jesus hung on the cross, and when He gave up the ghost the sun became darkened for a span of time. When these two prophets are killed and left to lay in the street of Jerusalem, that ends their trumpet ministry. How many realize that? But the fourth trumpet, and from there on, now this has an altogether different affect. There is definitely a celestial affect. Let s read it. Verse 12, And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. That is a sign of the antichrist taking over. The point here is, the darkening of the celestial bodies was not a part of the prophets ministry. How many realize that? The prophets ministry was plagues on earth, water turned to blood, water turned to wormwood, all these tormenting things. But when these two prophets of God were killed, now the heavens give vindication. Just like when they killed Christ Jesus, you get almost simultaneously the same picture. So that fourth trumpet is not a part of the prophets ministry. How many realize that? It is a sign from heaven. I have given you the antichrist, now I give you the devil. He has given them warnings and they still did not take heed, so God is now going to give them the devil. It is going to be from then, hell on earth. Now we notice that right out of the later part of the 8 th chapter, verse 13, And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, (Just imagine now, the two prophets have been killed, their dead bodies are laying on earth. It tells you in the 11 th chapter that when they are 11 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

12 dead, that the whole world will see their bodies. Suppose this event was to have been fulfilled a hundred years ago. How could the whole world see it? You didn t have television. There was no way they could have seen it. So the Bible is precise and right on schedule. The whole world will see their dead bodies laying there and rejoice, and have celebrations and send gifts one to another. Because of the torment that these two prophets have brought on the earth. Now notice, in this fourth trumpet it says...) saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! That lets us know that these last three angels, fifth, and sixth, and seventh, are going to be devastating and hurtful. They are not just like when the prophets are here. With that, we will move right on down to the 9 th chapter and pick up the fifth trumpet, which is the first woe. And the fifth angel sounded, (now the prophets are dead, they have already been resurrected after three days and a half, and they have ascended into heaven) and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. Now this is a different type of judgement. This is not the ministry of the two prophets, they are out of the picture, but this begins to show God is building up His wrath. Then it is turned loose. Young people, and old, we are living in the world at a time when mankind has lost his way of existence in this world. He knows so much, he has so much, he has had access to so many things, but I will tell you, When hell is turned loose on earth and human beings find themselves going mad and there is no help for them, it is accurate to say, There is going to be hell on earth. People will go crazy. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; (We are still on the trumpets.) and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. That is figurative, the spirits coming up out of that hole to darken the atmosphere around this earth. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. This lets me know they are going to be a tormenting thing. We are living in a day when people can get so frustrated over something that is practically nothing. I was in Wal-Mart the other day. I heard a little child back in the aisle, screaming his head off. I though, I doubt if that little fellow is sick, he has just grown up to have his way about things, and mommy doesn t 12 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

13 know what to do about it. Young people, listen carefully, Don t ever cultivate an attitude that God gave you that child and you are never supposed to spank its bottom. I tell you, if you never develop something in that child s intellect so that is a nono, I am not telling you to beat the daylights out of them: you would have the law on you then, but God gave you that little fellow, and nobody else is responsible to raise it properly but you. All God asks is that you use your mentality and see from the scriptures how to raise the children He gives you. Young mothers and fathers, it is not wrong to grab that little child and sit him or her down and say, You don t act that way! If you want to go with me to the store, when we get to the store, you go in and follow me and you will not raise your voice. If you do, when I get you home, I am going to turn you across my knee and spank your little behind. That kind of correction is not wrong. Watch out Bro. Jackson! The philosophers will get hold of you! They have no more common sense than that young one that needs correction. When I heard that little fellow scream, I could see the mother was getting frustrated. She had him in her arms and out the front door she went, with him still screaming. I thought, for goodness sakes, mother, that is your fault. From the time it begins to recognize you, you begin to recognize it has a spirit in it; and the little thing needs to be taught. It is the responsibility of mother and father to do the teaching, and to cause it to know what it means when they look at it and give it a certain signal, or certain touches, That is a no-no. God ordained it to be that way. That is why I have to say, In the last fifty years we have had a generation of youth coming up, that the devil rules much of the time. When I hear on the News, where is a young man that has shot three adults, kidnaped one adopted child and has his own two, and he is leaving the country with them. I would like to have seen that man when he was a little tot. I venture to say, he was probably raised, never knowing any kind of correction. That is exactly what happens much of the time. When they are brought up by modern parents using modern philosophy, oh I just hate violence, I have to say, Go on and keep that philosophy up, and you will live to regret it. When he raises his voice at about twelve or thirteen years old and says, Shut up mom! then don t come crying to me. How many understand what I am talking about? You, as a parent are obligated by the Creator to teach your children and raise them to respect authority. My Bible tells me, for whom the Lord loveth, He chastens and scourges every son of God. What does He want you to do? Beat them to death? No. He never did beat you like that, but He sure knows how to get your attention, does He not? Well that is 13 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

14 the modern world we are heading for, hell on earth. But wait until that last three and one half years comes. It will really be hell on earth. Then people will seek death and God will not let them die. He will not even let them commit suicide. Does that mean they will not die naturally? It doesn t mean that at all. It just literally means these people that want to get frustrated and say well I am going to kill myself and get away from this, go ahead and try it: God will not let you. It is your fault that you have cultivated a society like this. I hope you understand what I mean. I hate to think we have an untold number of young parents today, that do not know what to do with the little fellow that acts up. Many times mommy gets disgusted: She goes to the medicine cabinet and gets three pills and takes them and then goes to bed. She calls someone and asks, Will you come over and watch my kids for awhile, I am just so sick. You everyone know what I am talking about. Common sense is common sense and this modern generation does not have it. It has been taken away from them by the philosophers of this age. That is why I have to say, What we have been reading, is absolutely foretelling what the undisciplined end time generation is going to be like. They are demon possessed. When this fifth trumpet is sounded, the last half of Daniel s seventieth week is starting, one woe is in effect. What does the word woe mean. It is not whoa, horse. It is a warning, that now hell is on earth. That is what it means. That is why those last three trumpets were, woe, woe, woe. The last one is when the woman has to flee into the wilderness for survival. That dirty devil through that beastly system will turn his anger against all the religious Jews and foolish Gentile virgins and so forth. It will be for a short period of time, hell on earth. Now as we have heard the fifth trumpet, it says this, And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: (This is human beings that will be tormented.) and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death. Oh my! That is not back here anywhere, it is over here in this last half of the week. No philosopher is going to have a smart answer for that. No school teacher is going to have a cure. No doctor is going to have a pill to take away all the anguish. It is God s way of saying, I gave you what you wanted, when you did not want me. What creates evil is the absence of God, so as the world approaches that hour of hatred toward God, don t talk about God, don t talk about religion, don t talk about salvation: They are wanting a materialistic world, a scientific program and everything their heart s desire. 15 scientists with their educated minds sit down and oh what a celebration. I thought about the time they were celebrating that little toy they landed up there on the moon. Saints: our day is coming, we are going to rise and say, bye, bye, we will see you later, but right now it is bye, bye. Now George Bush is saying, what we need to do now is make a presence of man on the moon for future generations. I thought, I am about as interested in knowing how many rocks are on the moon as I am in knowing how many dead fish are in the bottom of a river somewhere. Does it put food in a hungry man s stomach? No. Does it help them develop a serum to help them get rid of disease. The diseases are getting worse, not better. Untold sickness is getting worse. It looks likes those things are just being multiplied. The scientists do not have an answer for all this. When the world enters into that last three and one half years of time, it is going to be hell on earth for sure, sickness, suffering, heartbreak, everything going berserk. As we finish this fifth trumpet, listen to it carefully And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. God has let John see all this in the Spirit, even though he was still living in the first century AD. He let him record what would take place at the end time. You can go ahead and read further. All that is figurative of how these devils want to incorporate themselves, not only in the social affairs of men, but in the military affairs of men as well. Devils will specialize in every kind of military weapon there is. That is the fifth trumpet, but it is the first woe of three. It is God warning the world. Now when we come to the second woe, which verse 13, introduces, just listen, And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God. Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels. Notice now, loose the four angels. When you go back to the 7 th chapter, here came this angel, and he was crying out to the four angels that existed at the four corners of the earth, Hold back the winds. Read it. Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor anything, until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. That takes place right here under the ministry of the two prophets, as God prepares mankind for what is ahead. So those angels are told, Don t do anything detrimental or anything like that until the 144,000 servants of God have been sealed. 16 trumpet is sounded and a voice is saying, Loose those angels of the four corners of the earth, which are bound in the great river Euphrates. Brothers and sisters, look at the turmoil that is going on now in the Euphrates valley. Baghdad sits right at the side of it. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. You can read the rest of it. That goes to show, at the time that trumpet is sounded. That means conditions in the Middle East, as we are moving into this week, getting well started into it, that sixth trumpet is sounded, because that means when those angels are loosed, that means world conditions in the Middle East will begin to develop so that God can bring all those spirits that you see coming up, now they begin to incorporate into material things and the political and military things of mankind, and it is going to prepare things to bring the world to Armageddon. Because that is what they do. The seventh trumpet, will not be sounded until here (at the coming of the Lord). That is why it is pointing there. But now let us go back here and look at how the fifth, sixth, and seventh all overshadow that last half of Daniel s week, which is three and one half years. Let us now go to the seven vials. We are in the 16 th chapter. Now that we are in the 16 th chapter, we can take that and look back over this whole three and a half years time that the trumpets have been sounding, giving serious warnings. When we come to this 16 th chapter, you can see how God s wrath is all stored up in these vials. What does the word vial mean? In the dictionary it says it can also mean a pitcher or container that can hold a liquid. And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. Now this is not just the Middle East. This is the entire world. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. Let s go back to the fifth trumpet and see how this coincides. Chapter 9, verse 1, And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth. Because that is exactly what the vial is beginning to do. Now let us go to the second vial. 17 16, verse 3. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea. Under the trumpet, only one third, but here, all. That lets you know, what these vials are. What was a warning back here, now becomes fulfilled as God expresses it through the elements of nature. It is absolutely going to be God s anger and the way of showing His displeasure. I have to say, This begins to make it more sensible why God had to take that woman and lead her somewhere else. How many understand? That is why God did not want this woman left here in that Middle East area to be dealt with, as God was going to deal with that area. So the woman flees. So does the 144,000 that carry the everlasting gospel to the nations. As all this is being applied, remember, somewhere there is a precise spot on earth, God has prepared, and that geographical spot will not have these devastating judgments and wrath poured out in extremity. How many realize that? Why would He take a multitude of people to preserve them physically, over here, and then He pours out His wrath and all hell breaks loose where they are? What is the point of moving them, if they are still going to be faced with all of that? How many understand? There has got to be a reason. That is why it is written in advance. It goes to show that in all these judgments, and in all this wrath, God is still that supernatural Spirit that controls this planet. He knows exactly how to preserve a certain element of human life. Several weeks ago when I answered some questions, I realized when I got home that I had not answered all of them. There was one question asked about the elect, as Jesus spoke about it in Matthew 24, verses 15 through 22. It told about what a terrible period of time that will be, and except those days be shortened there would be no elect saved. Let us read it, verse 22, And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect s sake those days shall be shortened I was asked, Who are these elect? Well since it is not the Christian people that would be there, because they would have fled, it had to be Jews. I have to realize, when I look into the history books I have, one million Jews starved to death, died or were killed, and their bodies were thrown over the wall to perish in the valley of Kidron. But for the elect among them, if God had not shortened that siege, every last physical Jew would have died there. How many understand my point? When they got so hungry that they were even eating their newborn babies, you know it was bad. No wonder Jesus said, And then shall be great tribulation such as there never was before. It is a shame how that has been taken and pointed to the last three and one half years of 17 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

18 the week of Daniel, because that is not pointing to that period at all. I can say this, if God is concerned about preserving the woman somewhere in this geographical earth, and there is a reason for the 144,000 going to all the nations of the earth to preach the everlasting gospel, then we have to say surely in the mind of God He has a sovereign elect of mortal physical people that He wants to preserve. You do not look at it from the standpoint of salvation in this case. How many realize that? He wants an element of certain physical, mortal young people to escape all this, to repopulate their genetic line in the Millennium. That comes in under the separation of the sheep and goats when Jesus returns to earth. That is why they have to hear something that warns them, opens their minds, to get them to surrender their lives to God for the future purpose He is going to use them for. They are His elect in this case. Keep in mind, elect in the mind of God refers to how He looks upon the various ones for a future purpose in each generation, all designed to select and preserve an element of people. We realize that in the gospel term, we have always associated it with the spiritual people, but you have to realize many times, what the total picture relates to. If the everlasting gospel is to be preached to every kindred and tongue and nation and so forth, it is because God has in mind to preserve a few of them. Those that He preserves are going to be His elect. We have to look at it in that light. THE THIRD VIAL Let us now get back to the vials and go to the third vial. Verse 4. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. (You see, it is just more blood. It is just blood added onto blood.) And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints (That pertains to the world in that hour, how they are killing the foolish virgins and the Jews.) and prophets, and thou hast given to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. As the last half of that week gets closer and closer to the end, the pressures in the social realm and these spirits out of hell are running rampant to possess the minds, and to torment, I have to say I am glad that the Bride of Christ will not be here then. Now we have them out there in the charismatic world saying, Well the Bible does not teach the rapture so many are talking 18 Copyright 2018 Faith Assembly Church

19 about. I say, It sure does teach a rapture, when you know how to read it. Those that say such things are the ones that are blinded. I just thank God that the little Bride of Christ will not be here when this terrible period is in force. We will be gone to glory, while those who do not believe in a rapture are right here facing that hour of time. I have to say, These trumpets and vials are not something mysterious. You can see them, they are actually real. When we get on down here into the sixth and seventh, timewise, you are moving right into here toward the end. We will not bring that out until a little later. When that sixth and seventh vial is poured out, that beastly system that has ruled with such cruelty during the last part of the week, while foolish virgins have been slaughtered, and Jewish saints, wherever they can be caught, are killed. I will say this, and you can see it in God s word, This world s population is going to be crying and screaming for God to send them some kind of help. People call upon God when things really get bad. In the last year, this disease called SARS, which is more or less a respiratory infection, which we learn has risen in the Far East first, is on people s mind. Then we had the upsurge of the flu in our country. Already the death toll of the ones that have been hit in America is double to what the average death toll is when we do have an influenza attack in our nation. As I have watched these things develop, I have thought, when the last half of that week has come and modern man is still trying to educate himself and become intelligent enough to deal with everything he expects, he is in for a shock. Man has developed a world of technology and thinks he can live by that, but I have to say, When the time comes that he has nothing left to deal with his health factor, his mentality begins to break down, he cannot figure out what is taking place, where can he go? I am glad that I can say, I am thankful I know Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming very soon. Jesus does not come, under the sixth seal for us, He will come under the seventh seal for us. How many realize that? That is the reason it is constructed that way. That is why it will take spiritual people to really see it in the right order. When that 10 th chapter is brought right here, that seventh seal, which is the first verse of chapter 8 is applied right here, because they go together. That lines up everything it takes to complete the Bride. You have nothing else left but in chapter 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18, right on through to the end. I have something out of the Seals book that Bro. Branham said during the time he was preaching the seals. This is more or less to better acquaint us with what is going on in our day and hour.
