Freedom is very important in America. While the government must have some controls to insure safety for all people, it is very careful not to limit people s individual right to worship or beliefs. Americans have choices about where they want to work, live and attend religious services. The choices we make influence every part of our life. If you chose to live far away from your work (where housing may be less expensive) it will cost you more for gas or transportation to get to work. It may also cost you time. Time is a limited resource and you must choose how you want use it. When you are given freedom, it also requires responsibility. You must do the right thing at the right time for the right reason. When you choose to act in a selfish way, you will find your freedoms become restricted and your actions controlled
