6 Mother - the first teacher and guru Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi, who have attained their good character, humility and morality due to listening to the advice of their mother. Baba has himself said, "There is nothing greater than mother's love. Mother's words are always sweet. Repeatedly stated "Rama, Krishna and Gandhi became what they were because of their mothers. Same way, I am Sathya Sai today because of Easwaramma!"

7 The mother's lap is the first school for every child. It is his first temple; mother is his foremost God. Mother is every man's primary wealth. It is the duty of every person to recognize this truth. Everyone should cherish their parents as embodiments of the Divine. The father and the mother are inseparable like the word and its meaning. 9 Nearest school to Puttaparthi was at Bukkapatnam And so, to attend school, small children had to walk long distances Requested Swami to construct a small school Swami fulfilling her wish, by establishing a small school in Puttaparthi in a plot of land behind Mother Easwaramma s house Now the Small School behind Mother Easwaramma s House is a Big University

10 No Hospital/Medical Facilities in Puttaparthi that the Villagers were forced to go to the Next Village even for a minor ailment Due to poverty most were unable to pay for the medical expenses Second request to Swami was to build a small hospital in the village for the Welfare of the Residents of Puttaparthi And Swami accordingly, got a small hospital built Now the Small Hospital is a Super Speciality Hospital offering World Class Facilities

11 3 rd Wish was to provide drinking water to the village Women in Puttaparthi had to undergo great hardship to get water from the Chitravathi River which was on the verge of drying up. To fulfill her desire, Swami provided drinking water not only to Puttaparthi but to other surrounding villages also. This made clean and Healthy Drinking Water accessible to Thousands of Villagers without undergoing any form of Hardship

13 What's the difference between moms and dads? 1. Moms work at work & work at home, & dads just go to work at work. 2. Dads are taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's.

14 What do Mom s do in their spare time? 1. Mothers don't do spare time. 2. To hear her tell that she pays bills all day long.

15 If you could change one thing about your Mom, what would it be? 1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that. 2. I'd make my Mom smarter. Then she would know it was my brother who did it and not me.

17 The mother is the visible manifestation of God. If ignoring the divinity of the mother, who is visible and adorable, one seeks to worship what is invisible, it must be regarded as a sign of ignorance. God exists in subtle form. He is invisible and is infinite and immeasurable. The mother is a visible and tangible proof of Divinity. When a child is born, the first person it beholds is the mother. The mother bears patiently many travails for the sake of the child. It is sweet to love such a mother. You may have love for God. But if you have no love for the mother who is physically present before you, how can you love the invisible Divine? -Sathya Sai Baba
