Join Sid for this edition of It s Supernatural. Sid: Hello. Sid Roth here. Welcome to my world where it s naturally supernatural. I want to welcome you here because we have something to impart to you that will change your life. Some of you have lost your vision. Some of you don't even know what it's like to dream with God. You see, God wants to dream with you. God wants you to have a vision for your future, a hope for your future. God wants you to have a vision for your marriage. I know what it looks like right now. But that's not God's best. That's not God's heart. God wants you to have inventions so that you'll be the head and not the tail. And that's not just good proclaiming. That is truth. I pray that you would hear what my guest Leif Hetland has to say. Leif, it was in the year 2000 that you had an encounter with God and he explained about the orphan spirit. Explain that to me. Leif: Well in year 2000, I had this baptism of love experience where actually the orphan spirit in my life was actually totally transformed into a spirit of sonship. God became my papa. He became my daddy. Sid: That orphan can't live in the love of God, can it? Leif: No He can't. He can't live in the home with Father God. So that's the amazing thing is when you are living your life having a home and that's also where there is creativity, there is where everything is happening, is living a life where you're a hundred percent secure. You are loved, you are valued and you have a purpose. And out of that purpose you start to get passion and you start to dream again. So that's kind of a foundation to dream with God. And now I have the opportunity to live my dream. Sid: You know, when you say that, I think of a teaching I heard of yours where you talked about that amazing true life story of Susan Boyle when she sang on national television. Tell me about that. Leif: Well I just watched on YouTube many years, well actually several years ago, and Susan Boyle, I think she's probably touched most of the American homes. Today you would travel all over American and she's filling up coliseums of people hearing her. She was on an audition for something like American Idol over in England. And when she came there she probably looked like a good old country girl. She was in her middle-40s, maybe don't look the best. So everybody literally was judging her. Even the judge, Simon, he kind of rolled his eyes. They made mockery out of her, and they thought, what do you want to do? Why are you here? Sid: You know, I was watching that and I thought that was awful. I felt my heart went out to her.

2 2 Leif: It did for me. But I think also because we all can identify with Susan Boyle with all these odds against us, and that's what she had. But she said it: "I have a dream." And she even mentioned that what her dream was, she wanted to be actually a worldwide singer and everybody smiled, laughed when you looked around the audience. And then when she started it was just in a matter of a few seconds we could sense the whole environment changing. And to see each one of the judges, the whole transformation and the audience, by the time she was half into it, they started to weep and they started to applaud. There's somebody that had found her dream, despite all the judgmental attitudes, and when she was finished, there was a standing ovation. They had never heard anything like it. Sid: You know, when I was listening to that, something in me just leapt. This underdog that had no chance of fulfilling her dream. Can you relate to that? No chance. None. I mean, how could she become a top singer? And when she sang all mockery turned to raves. That's what they were doing. They were raving about her. Leif: Yeah, oh yeah. Sid: I had almost goose bumps when that happened. Leif: We started crying. I just felt I wanted to tape this Susan Boyle and wanted to start watching it. And I watched it again and again. Then I started to show it other people. I took a group of a thousand people in Houston and showed it, and the whole atmosphere just changed. And I recognized that the dreams that was in people's lives, it started to stir up something. And then I heard God says, "Leif, I want you to be dream-releaser because within each one of these people there is a Susan Boyle. There is something. There is that song that never was sang. There is that book that never was written, that business that never was started." And that started my journey towards I wanted to release people into their dream, because I am living my dream today. Sid: But when you were nine years old, you had a dream from God. What did God say to you? Leif: Well I was sitting under a tree in Sandnes, Norway as a little boy. I was actually very shy at that time and many times, I put my finger in my mouth and sucked my tongue, even at that age. But as I was sitting there, there was a wind that came into that tree. There was also a house. And there was all this tingling. I didn't know what was going on or what had happened. All I knew there was a voice that spoke inside my heart. Well I knew I was called to go to the nations of the world. Sid: But when you were a Baptist pastor and it looked like you burned out, you're having problems in the home front. It looked like your dream was dead. Some of you, it looks like your dream and your vision is dead. Well God has given Leif the ability to resurrect that dream or vision, the anointing. And some of you have never even dreamt with God. This is your time to dream with God. This is your moment. Don't go away. We'll be back right after this word. 3 3 Sid: Hi. Sid Roth here with Leif Hetland. Leif, you teach on regaining the vision. You teach on dreaming with God. You're a dreamer, right? Leif: I do. Sid: You are a dreamer. And when you impart this, people have inventions, people have healings, people have new direction for life. They have encounters with God. Tell me about Edwin. Leif: Well Edwin is a businessman. Sid: He sat in on your teaching. Leif: He sat in on my teaching and I've released this actually to all my team in the Philippines because I wanted every single one of them to be able to realize that there's a dream in your life. But I realize many of them had a funeral of their dream. So they actually, the dream was dead and they had buried their dream. And Edwin is also a dreamer. And he is a businessman, owns a construction company, and he also has one of the greatest real estate company. But during the recession they were hit very hard. Sid: Of course. Leif: And so he went up on a mountain area where he goes alone with God. And the good news, he is a son. He's just finding his place in the Father's embrace and love. Sid: He's not an orphan any more. Leif: He's not an orphan now. He's a son. And he started to dream with God. But his dilemma was he didn't have money to be able to pay his workers. And all of those workers that is construction workers, they get paid, but not just paid. That's his ministry. That's his ministry in the business. So Edwin, he started then to dream with God. And God gave him a word. He said, "Your dream is whoever lends to the poor, lends to me, and I'm going to show you." And he was driving down from that mountain and he saw a poor beggar sitting on the street. And Edwin said, "What would you like God to do for you?" And this guy said, "I just would love to have a home." He was homeless. So Edwin, he gathered his crew and he started to dream. They didn't have money to pay the workers. But now instead, they built this guy a beautiful house, a home. And while they were building his home, a Korean businessman, he calls in and he ordered a house. Now another group of people called in and they ordered a whole set of upper-middle class houses, and later on, there was a school. And in a matter of two months there were so many orders that came in for Edwin that he had made more money during the first two months of recession than all the previous years back together. So Edwin, he continued to dream with God and he's doing very well. Sid: So if you're a dreamer with God, if you dream with God it doesn't matter what happens to the economy. It doesn't matter what happens in any arena of your life because if you're dreaming

4 4 with God, if God's for you, your mother didn't raise a dummy, who can be against you? Leif, tell me about that Filipino man that had that idea for the Korean company. Leif: It's kind of a fun story because also he is another dreamer. But he didn't realize when the down luck was going to come. There was a Korean company, and it's been on the Internet, that has been looking for a scientific and a mathematical solution. And a lot of the Filipinos, they would like to get something from Heaven that would be an answer to this solution. And in the natural they tried everything, but nothing was taking place. And he also had deemed in the presence of God. And he was actually just going to a restaurant, and he was in the restaurant heading to the bathroom. And when he's going into the bathroom that's when the download came. It sounds strange that he shared the story. He was in the bathroom and suddenly he got these downloads from Heaven. Sid: Now you said, you did warn me this was a funny story. Leif: So he took actually toilet paper and he throwed it down there and then he took it, put it in his pocket, went back home, went on his computer. And first of all, it changed his life financially speaking. He's been made partner of this Korean company. And this is just one out of many stories. What I like so much about this story, it was that his creative solution, and I believe that with any problem that is up there, there's somebody, God is just looking for a dreamer, somebody that will just align up with him that can solve that very problem. And that's why this story or that testimony is so beautiful to me. There is something in each person, everybody that is watching right now, something God has placed within us to solve some of these problems. But all God is looking for is somebody that would co-labor with him, sons and daughters that would just receive from Him the solution to some of the problems. Sid: Tell me about the Alabama pastor that sat under your teaching. Leif: That was just a few weeks ago in Alabaster, right outside Birmingham, Alabama. And it was also an amazing service, a good old country church. But he never dreams, and he told me, "I never get to dream something." I said, "Just watch it." I said, "Tonight when you go to bed, just watch and see what's going to take place." And it was actually his wife. Sid: You know what? That's a word for you. Tonight, when you go to sleep, watch and see what takes place. Go ahead. Leif: And so the wife called me the next day and then she sent an to my office. And this was just tremendous because he said, "I never get dreams. But I saw in my dream, and it was the weather forecast, day-by-day for the next six days, I saw it in my dream." He said, "And I never get that." But the wife said, "In the natural, the first thing I do in the morning, I look at the weather forecast." He's also a businessman and they are looking at buying this big warehouse as well as office complex to remove his office. And he's been struggling, should he do it or not? But in his dream, he got a clear answer for what is going to take place in the next six days in his dream, and he knew exactly what he was supposed to do in regard to this large purchase that didn't make sense during the recession.

5 5 Sid: How about you? Because your dream, you've had a funeral for it. You've given up. You still love God, but you've given up on that dream. Or you, you have never even had a dream with God. I'm going to have Leif, in the next section, pray for you and I expect you to dream with God because you are a son, you are a daughter of the most high God, and you count. You're special. You're not damaged merchandise. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are special to God and He wants to show you. Be right back after this word. And Leif, one thing I love is you even teach children to dream. You, in your own home, how has this teaching impacted your wife and your children? Leif: Well first of all, I do believe that when I came home after just having this experience, actually it was after the Susan Boyle, I decided that I need to go home and ask my wife, "What is your dreams? What is some of the things that even from when you were a little child that you wanted to do when you're dreaming with God?" So I decided for my wife and each one of my children, let's write down 25 things on a list in the next few days your dream with God, something that is coming from Him that you think is. And it can be going on a mission trip. It can be different things. So we started to make that list. And then there's another list and that is the desire of your heart. What is the desire of your heart? Align yourself with Him and he's going to give you the desire of your heart. So I released the prayer over my wife and my four children. And my wife, she went and started to draw our next house. And since she was nine years old, she had a picture, but she never financially speaking could dream, so she just tore up the paper. A couple of times she was thinking about it. But it was always the limitation. Sid: So she had a funeral for her dream. Leif: She had a funeral for her dream. But after she released, this is the problem, because now the dream house is there, and I'm saying, "Who's going to pay for this?" Now I'm chickening out. But she started to draw out her dream house. And my daughter Lila, she's working full time in my office right now. Her dream was when she went to bed at night, I want to be with my daddy. I want to do what my daddy. And that's what touches my heart. So she, while I'm sitting here now, is in my office. She's been with me in Africa. She is living her dream by serving her daddy, and that became the dream that God started to realize, to travel with her daddy and do what her daddy is doing. Sid: You know, when you said that, I could feel something in my heart. I could feel what you feel when your dream becomes a reality. And your dream will become a reality. Tell me about some children when you teach on dreaming, what's happened to them. Leif: We were in Eerie, Pennsylvania and doing an event. And I was actually releasing first all of the adults. But the amazing thing that I've seen is I go down the line and I ask children, "What

6 6 would you like to do when you grow up?" All of the children have a dream. But when you go to the grownups, because of disappointments and discouragement, delays, things that happen in life, and they have to think or they're not sure. Sid: You know, maybe that's why Jesus said, "Become like a little child." Leif: And that's why I like to be childlike. I'm just like a little boy that has a big papa. Sid: I've noticed that. Leif: That's what happened here. So afterwards, I released over the children. I said, "You're going to dream with God." And the amazing thing that happened, all of the children, they rested in the presence of God just when I touched them. And these are some, like one grandma said, "This is a very hyper child." That's a miracle in itself. Two hours later, I came back and the children were still down. So I went into a big church and ministered, and we had worship, and then eventually came back again. I wanted to find out what happened to the children. And I got to hear all these stories of children describing in detail. Some had seen Jesus. One of them got to sit on Jesus' lap. Other ones were drawing what they saw while they were laying on the floor. And the parents were just blown away. Sid: Those children will never be the same. But I remember a young boy that had a dream to go to the nations and you had your funeral for your dream. But today, you go to nations like Pakistan and you have big billboards, and these billboards, what did they say? Leif: They're just saying that Jesus is here. Jesus is here and he's going to be here in this cricket stadium. If you are lame, if you are blind, if you are deaf, just come, anyone that are sick, and we're just announcing that Jesus is coming to show up, and that is my dream for people. Sid: And what is going to happen, what is going to happen if the people are not healed, if miracles don't happen? This is a stadium filled with non-believers, Muslims. Leif: Yeah. And when you go into a place where people are from a totally different faith, I know that I would be considered a false prophet if he doesn't show up. If Jesus doesn't heal the blind eyes, the deaf ears, tumors falling off people's body, you announce beforehand this is going to happen, and if they're coming and they don't see it, I know what they are going to do, and it's not going to be very pleasant. So I know that I don't have a Plan B. It is only Plan A. It is a dream from God. Sid: But this is your dream and just as he had a funeral for his dream, and God resurrected it. And just as you're saying, "God, I want to dream with you. I've never had a dream," I want you to pray for people right now to dream with God. Would you do that? Leif: I would love to. And I just want to focus just on you. Within each one of you, first of all, I want to remind you, you're very, very valuable and God is very good. And there's something that He has placed within your life and your heart, and I want to release, some of you that had a funeral, some of you, I'm going to release resurrection of the dream. You're going to start to

7 7 sense something that has been the desire of your heart is going to come back. So Father, just release right now, come Holy Spirit. Just come right now and start just to stir up some of those dreams. Awaken some of the dreams. I just ask even that some of the desires of people's heart is just going to be awakened. Even as they're going to bed tonight, I ask that you would just download certain things, like we've heard stories from the Filipinos. Come Holy Spirit. I just ask that the vision is going to come back. Hope is going to come back. Passion is going to come back. Husband and wives, let them start to dream together. Businesses being resurrected. Songs being written. Wow. Songs being sung. Even the very sound of a Susan Boyle, there is a song in each one of you. I just release. I release that song to come out. Come Holy Spirit. Just feel it right now. You can feel His presence is on you right now. Sid: I could feel His presence on me right now. I can tell you, Leif. You talk a lot about rest and resting in God. Explain that to me. Leif: First of all, I want to say the best thing about God is God. When I come to be with Him I do nothing. Sid: You don't have an agenda. Leif: No agenda. I just want to be there with him. And what happens when I go there with no agenda, this time I study and pray. But there's a time for me just to go and to be with him. And I find me a comfortable place where I rest, because I believe when you are resting you are receiving, and that's the hard thing. There are so many noises. There are so many things that is competing with us. That for me just to go in a place... Sid: Don't you have to do something? Work? Leif: It's called nothing. And there's something in that nothingness. It's called the hard work of rest because resting is receiving. Sid: So you're telling me, if I'm understanding right, what you do is, now what are you doing? Are you concentrating on God? What are you doing when you're resting in God? Are you focusing on Him or are you just resting? Leif: Sometimes I'm focusing on certain of His attributes. Sid: You know, when I just went back like that, God spoke to me. Does He speak to you when you're resting? Leif: He speaks to me and that's when downloads is taking place. Sid: Well you know what He just told me? That someone's neck, there's a pain in your neck. I just heard that. If you'll move your head until the pain is gone. And you know what happens? It seems like every time, Leif, I get that word, the anointing of God goes down the person's spine and their back gets healed. Stand up and bend over. Come on. Come on. Sid says do it. Do it.

8 8 Okay. Because Sid heard from God. What about where it says in the Bible, "I only do what I see my Heavenly Father doing." How does that work out for you? Leif: It's working very well out because I am with Him, He places certain things in me and then the next moment, there's things that's being downloading, even financially speaking. Or like I'm just writing a book. But when some of those things is coming down into my spirit, I maybe say, I don't have this, I don't have this gift. I can hardly speak English. At least I do with a very strong accent. But He places something in me and in the next moment, now that very dream that I had is a reality. I'm looking at a script. And my English teacher said to me, he said, "You're never going to learn how to speak English." And I'm sitting here talking to you in English. Sid: Now I'm reminded many years ago, someone sang about the love of God to you. What difference did it make at that point in your life? Leif: It made all the difference because when I came up from that very place I knew that God is in a good mood. And the second thing I knew is I m His son and I don't have to live towards inheritance. I can live from inheritance. So all that Papa has is mine, as His son. So he has a whole, I mean, he has a whole Heaven full of resources that is just waiting for sons and daughters to dream with Him, and that's what is taking place. And I think that even as we are watching this program, you're going to hear from all over the country and all over the world people, beloved sons and daughters, that start to dream with Papa. And every problem out there is just one dream away. Sid: And the first step to being a son or daughter is to tell God you're sorry for everything you've done that's wrong, believe that his blood just washes you clean. You're given that A+, as Leif likes to say and you say, "Jesus, I make you my Lord. Come and live inside of me and be my Lord." If you say it's too simple, you're right. It is. He's done all the work. Now just choose Him.
