1 June 17, ******************************************************** Watch ye, stand fast, be strong I Cor. 16:13 ************************************************************ ********* Personal Thoughts: What a blessed time I had at the Pleasant View Baptist Church this past Sunday. They are such wonderful people. They are looking for a pastor who is like-minded as they are. These are good southern people with a heart for God. I will not be preaching at White Chapel the nest two Sundays as planned; instead, I was willingly preempted because of two church supported missionaries who will be in the states on the 19 th and the 26 th, which is fine with me. I try to be flexible in the power of the Spirit. This, of course, opens up all future Sundays, beginning with this Sunday, which is Father s Day. (Call, text, or me) Since this coming Sunday is Father s Day, you deserve some accolades. I know we don t get as much attention as Mom and that s all right, so I say to you in the words of the Apostle Paul, Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. (I Cor. 16:13) That statement, quit you like men, means Be a man; or man up; start acting like a man. That s what fathers are supposed to do and it s one of the reasons why Mom gets most of the attention. All too often, we fail

2 to take our proper place in the home. All to often she has to be both mother and father. God never intended for that to happen. She truly is the weaker vessel. He put the mantle of responsibility upon Dads, so we all have to start taking our role as head of our home seriously. Editorial Now that the cat is out of the bag, it would appear that first on the Muslim agenda is to get rid of all homosexuals, lesbians, and transvestites. Both the California and the Florida massacre targeted this group of individuals. Make no mistake about it, they will target Christians and Jews as well, but seemingly, at this time, their greatest animosity is toward the homosexual community. So what s the remedy in dealing with this kind of terrorism? Already many are clamoring to get rid of all guns, especially the assault weapons. This, of course is the solution of the liberal elitist of the East, as well as that of the left coast centered in California, Oregon, and Washington. The other solution is to ban Muslims into our Country, regardless of their peaceful intentions. The problem in letting any of them, is that they procreate at a ratio of 8 to 1 and like the Muslim that killed 50 people on Sunday morning, who was born in America, they become radicalized and are turned into terrorist. Nobody that can t pledge allegiance to this country and follow our laws and get amalgamated into American culture, should ever be allowed to immigrate into this country. All this has become a significant part of the political platforms of the two leading candidates for presidency. Hillary is going to renew her attack on the second amendment to ban all kinds of guns, period. The liberal crowd honestly believes that controlling guns is the answer to our gun violence. By the way, it s interesting to note that the two cities in America that has the toughest gun control laws in America, also has the highest murder rate in America: Chicago and Washington D.C. Of course they have no answer for that. So we know from her own statements what Hillary plans to do. In regards to the Donald, despite all of his buffoonery, it would seem that his plan to ban the emigration of Muslims and to maintain status quo in regard to the Second Amendment is without question the way to go. On the one hand the track

3 record of Hillary clearly demonstrates that she wants to continue the destructive agenda of President Obama; and on the other hand the absence of a Trump track record relative to a political agenda demonstrates that, we ll have to wait and see. Personally, I would rather wait and see, knowing what I already know about Hillary. In 2013, Mateen was the subject of an FBI investigation after co-workers reported him for possible ties to terrorism. Due to a lack of evidence after investigation and two interviews, the case was closed. In 2014, Mateen was interviewed again for suspected ties to American suicide bomber Moner Mohammad Abusalha, who left the U.S. for Syria, came back, and then returned to the region where he detonated a truck full of explosives. Before the attack over the weekend, Mateen called 911 to pledge allegiance to ISIS. ISIS has repeatedly produced anti-gay propaganda. Just last week, ISIS spokesman Abu Mohammed al Adnani called for attacks on the West during Ramadan. ~~Katie Pavlich~~ Just in case you are interested: President Obama has commissioned a new stamp commemorating the Muslim holy day, Ramadan. Since I can t show it to you, it has some butterflies and flowers on it, along with some Arabic

4 gibberish. If your postmaster or mistress tries to pawn these off on you, please refuse them and demand American postage stamps. On Sunday, President Obama said, "We need to demonstrate that we are defined more -- as a country -- by the way they lived their lives than by the hate of the man who took them from us. So Americans, who had nothing to do with this mass killing, have the burden of proving we are not defined by the hate of the terrorist? This really takes the cake. There are no words to sufficiently describe this insanity. Americans in general have nothing to prove here. It is leftist officeholders and their enablers who must explain why they won't take the handcuffs off our military, law enforcement and intelligence services and have the government do its job of protecting and defending the United States and its citizens. More than access to guns, Obama's insistence on keeping our heads in the sand and tying our hands behind our backs is imperiling all of us. Inviting the invasion of our borders without regard for who represents a danger to Americans, refusing to identify our enemy and playing footsie with the Islamic State group overseas are imperiling Americans. If anyone needs a lecture, it's not ordinary Americans; it's Obama and his fellow finger-wagging leftists, who keep mouthing their mantra that we need to examine ourselves to see what we are doing to cause these acts. No, they need to examine themselves, apologize to the rest of us and get out of the way so that the adults in this nation can take the imperative steps to identify the enemy, fight the war and defend America and Americans. ~~Columnist David Limbaugh~~ Seriously? Islam is not a race any more than Presbyterianism is a race. Muslims of all shapes, sizes, and colors exist, (all over the world). Islamic terrorists do not have to be from the Middle East or commit atrocities in the Middle East. For example, the perpetrators of the Beslan school massacre in 2004, the Riyad-us Saliheen Brigade of Martyrs, were born in Russia, lived, studied, and worked in Russia, used Russian equipment and killed Russians. They were still Islamic terrorists. Many of the Paris attackers were born and raised in France. Ignoring the true motivations behind atrocities will do nothing to solve problems. The Orlando attacker pledged allegiance to ISIS and

5 expressed admiration for the Boston Marathon bombing. Point of View A question that should be on our lips is this: Will anything come out of the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton s s? The likelihood is NO. Why, the ramifications are too explosive. Charles Krauthammer (questionable attribution) on the criminal activity of Hillary in regards to the so called, Clinton Foundation, calling it the slickest moneylaundering scheme in the history of America. Literally millions of dollars have been given by foreign dignitaries to a bogus charity in Canada and then sent on to the Clinton Foundation, with no record of who gave what, except perhaps on Hillary s smart phone. You really need to read the article. Just Google Charles Krauthammer s article on the Clinton Foundation. Granted, maybe someone else has written the article, but its primary source of information was Charles.

7 The point to be made, however; is that much of this Clinton Foundation business from foreign dignitaries would be on her cell phone, which when disclosed, would incriminate the dignitaries, as well as Hillary. What you have to remember is that both the FBI and the Criminal Justice system are in the pocket of our Muslim president. The FBI at one time, was an independent agency, but since the days after J. Edgar Hoover, it has been under the control of the President. This is also true of the Justice Department under the Attorney General. I would be shocked, shocked, if anything comes of Hillary s crime spree, unless, of course if Donald Trump becomes our next President. If that happens, I have an idea there will be lot of people going to jail, both Republicans and Democrats. Is it any wonder that the establishment, is so adamantly against Trump becoming President. The Grapevine: Universal Laws of Golf * Your best round of golf will be followed almost immediately by your worst round ever. 9 Father s Day was near when I brought my three-year-old son, Tyler, to the card store. Inside, I showed him the cards for dads and told him to pick one. When I looked back, Tyler was picking up one card after another, opening them up and quickly shoving them back into slots, every which way. Tyler, what are you doing? I asked. Haven t you found a nice card for Daddy yet? No, he replied. I m looking for one with money in it. A Moment of Devotion What is it that makes a great Dad? Let me ask you this, what is that makes a great football team? What is it that makes a great soccer team? Or a great baseball team? It s the same thing that makes a great Dad. It s called the fundamentals. Greatness is not on the playing field; greatness is on the practice field. Greatness is not in the Dining Room; greatness is in the kitchen. So it is with Fatherhood. The fundamentals of being a great Dad are: 1. A good Dad is one who is thoroughly saved and dedicated to Jesus Christ. 2. A good Dad is one who is faithful to the local church & honors his pastor. 3. A good Dad is one who is separated from the world. 4. A good Dad is one who is passionately in love with his children s mother. 5.
