3 Mind Cleanse Primer It ll never work. It s been tried before, already. I m sure you won t succeed. Have you heard at least one of these phrases? You have probably heard all three at some point in your life; some more times than once. These are part of the lexicon of utterances that mirror the mindset each culture fosters. This is the mindset of failure. Failure?! Yes. The reality is that all of society, regardless the culture is structured around one thing; individuals. Individuals have the unique capacity for self-preservation. This drive builds selfishness and selfcenteredness. The me-first mentality is at the core of every decision and every action. If there is a polite gesture or kind deed performed, it is only completed because of two things: conscious effort or ulterior motive. This is a sad commentary on human life. It runs contrary to the rest of nature, which is to be supportive, following a network of supports from ant nests and bee hives to otter shelters and fox or wolves dens. Still, it is what makes humans strive for greater things. And, it is what creates uniqueness in each person. The issue is to place the limitation of negativity, created by human selfishness and selfcenteredness, into its proper role. What are some of the manifestations of negativity and how are they revealed in our thoughts and actions? They vary by individual. Still, for many there is a common thread. 4 Regardless the culture, regardless the language, the first utterance is always the word, no. Every baby starts learning their native tongue with hearing, even inadvertently, the word no. It is then associated with facial gestures that are meant to teach that no is a negative connotation. Later, events unfold to guide behaviors using negative, not supportive direction. Don t behave that way. I don t like it when you do that. I asked you not to speak (or do it) that way. These pinball-like rebounding adventures are the haphazard method most individuals learn to adapt through life. It s sad, but it leaves a response pattern of predestined expectations. These expectations are those of failure. Why? When any new experience unfolds, the anticipation is the first utterance by someone will be It ll never work. It s been tried before, already. I m sure you won t succeed. It is no wonder that we cannot get past our negative horizons to see the potential of success. Visualizing a reality of success is unheard of in a negative realm that is the scaffolding of our false truth. Individuals wander from birth to death holding this expectation and worse yet foisting it on others perpetuating the mindset. Try to get someone to think outside their trapped world. It s not easy. Most will immediately create a warning shot to protect their false truth. Warning shots may be an excuse to remain in the same protected territory of comfort as before, fearful to venture into uncharted and exciting areas of growth. I am too old. I am undereducated. I come from the wrong side of town. I am too ugly. I did not plan for my future. I need money to get ahead in life. I am too rich and nobody will take me seriously. I am too poor and nobody will take me seriously. The list goes on and on. It s like trying to disturb an animal when it is eating. Just don t go there! Other warning shots may be complaining about current conditions. I have a terrible apartment. My job has no upward mobility. My income is not what it could be. My weight is disgusting. I can t find the time to exercise. Or, the variant is commiserating with like-minded complainers. You see those hopeless people trying to make a better living by working on the Internet when they have a real job? We should not have to put up with working conditions like this. We don t think our homeowner association does an adequate job. Our government is miserable. Or, the pièce de résistance: It s the prime minister s (or president s) fault. Then, there are the rationalizers. These individuals take a dim view of stepping out into the unknown. So, to protect what is known, rather than to complain, they find reasons to justify why they have to accept it. The apartment has a leaking roof, and the landlord refuses to repair it, but my income is limited, and it s what I have to tolerate in life. I only got this job because my brother helped me get it, so I have to stay here. My weight will never change as exercising is out of the question. QuantumAbundanceMethod.com 4

5 Expectations in life are thus false truths. They are built on a framework that is negative and selfcentered. It runs contrary to nature, which is driven by the universe. Your subconscious mind is a conduit to nature. Without using conscious thought, you subconsciously convert anything negative to positive. Try to not think of a chocolate coated vanilla ice cream cone and all you can think of is that ice cream cone. Even after moving on to thoughts of another topic you still have that ice cream cone in your mind. Similarly, these negative beliefs from life are programmed into the subconscious mind. So, before you can find an abundance of wealth or an abundance of success in life you must clear your subconscious mind of all negative beliefs or expectations. You must have an expectation that is positive. When you approach new encounters, you must see opportunity and not failure. The best way to perform a clearing maneuver is to quiet your mind so you can tap directly into your subconscious mind. This is the portal to the universe. This is where nature speaks. With access to the subconscious and washing all limiting beliefs, through meditation, you can experience the truth with a mind cleanse. Your subconscious mind is a tool. It is a precious tool that is daily abused by programming negative information of false truths into it. The phrase truths is used because the subconscious mind repeats everything as if it were the truth. Place two people on the witness stand, and they may say two different things, but to them their different statements are the truth. It belongs to the court to sort out the details. Here, you will reprogram your subconscious mind because you have learned the details of what is now correct from incorrect information. You understand the difference between a false truth and accurate truth. To assess your subconscious mind, you must uncluttered your thoughts. You must remove the protective barrier of your conscious mind. The cold calculating conscious mind is housed in the two cerebral hemispheres. It calculates risk and probability. Your subconscious mind is near the center of your mind and houses your emotions and modifies many of your senses including smell, sound, sight, taste, and touch. As such, it is the core of memory. Memories can be negative or positive. For all individuals, it is predominantly negative. Your task is to begin the practice of clearing some of this negativity to start the habit of positive thinking. What is fed into your subconscious mind is returned in like kind. But, first, to delete the conscious mind, you must be sedated. This means meditating. You are not asleep, but almost asleep. You attain a point where you become so somnolent that you lose touch with the outside world. Touch, sight, smell, and taste are temporarily turned off, and all that is left is your sense of sound. You need to find a quiet room without too much light and sit in an upright, armless chair that is comfortable with your hands and legs uncrossed. QuantumAbundanceMethod.com 5

6 Breathing is most important. Deep and slow breaths bring you to this first stage of sleep. It is a stage referred to on electroencephalographs or EEGs as alpha-wave sleep. You may detect this has arrived because your leg or arm will begin to twitch. So, begin now to take your breaths. Deeply in and deeply out. Deep breaths are your key to reaching the subconscious mind. Take them, now. Deep breaths. Slow breaths. You find your heart is beating more slowly with each breath. Deep breaths. Slow breaths. Slowly, the pressures of the day cease to take center stage. You stop caring about the time or the details. You chose to release everything. Now you are in a much clearer place. It is a place that is not distracting you. It is not confusing you. Your only focus is your breathing. Deep breaths. You begin to see with a clarity that allows you access to your subconscious mind. The deep breaths open this portal in a very new and real way. You are choosing a countdown number from ten. You are sensing more clarity than before. Nine. You find calm and peace with more deep breaths. Eight. As you enter this portal of the subconscious mind, you notice you are in a special area known only to you. Seven. This special area is unique because it is a place you have always wanted to be, but never could go before. Six. This area has features that make you calm and peaceful. Five. It may be a beach or a waterfall. Four. It may be a mountaintop or a secret beachside. Three. You are at peace in this place and breathing deeply. Two. This is your subconscious mind. One. You have arrived at the final portal. And you are at full and complete peace. QuantumAbundanceMethod.com 6

7 While you continue your steady practice of deep breathing, you look around and enjoy your new realm that belongs only to you. This is your workroom of meditation. This is special within your subconscious mind. This is a clearing area to remove unwanted things and to learn new things. It belongs to you. You are breathing deeply. While in this workroom of meditation, you can do things with your mind and body and emotions that you cannot do in real life. So, begin with an experiment. Visualization is your strongest tool while in this workroom. So, visualize your mind, the very fabric of your brain, as it descends from your skull and rests in the pit of your stomach. There, now, you can do it. It is a relaxation technique. Here, your mind and body are separate. Watch as your very brain descends as a whole to the pit of your stomach. Hold it there in the pit of your stomach. Count to ten slowly breathing deeply. Observe that the source of your sense of negative sensations comes from this place the pit of your stomach. The energy of negative sensations rests here. This is what you want to remove, so notice how strong it is because this sensation will be gone when you are done. You are still breathing deeply and slowly during this time. Now that you are in your workroom of meditation you can identify your self-defined, limitations that are your negative beliefs and clear them away. This is your primary objective. You have noticed the strength of the total negative sensation, so you will begin to observe individual negative sensations. Each negative belief carries its own power of limitation that only you define. For you, these beliefs will often affect a different part of your body with negative energy while you are in the subconscious mind. You are communicating with the universe, which is all of energy. To identify this body part, allow your mind to select at random the location that has the most intensely negative sensation. For some, this may be the chest, for others the stomach. For others, this may be the neck or shoulders. You are still breathing deeply and slowly during this time. Now, remain in your mind with that place in your body that has the most negative energy. While you keep your mind focused on this part of your body with the highest intensity of negative energy, think of the first color that you associate with the negative energy. It can be gray, black, red, blue whatever you visualize to be equivalent to negative energy for you. You are still breathing deeply and slowly during this time. With this color deeply set in your visualization and covering the body part that has the strongest, negative energy visualize reaching in and pulling that color. Yes, you are going to grab that very color of negative energy and remove it from your body. You will visualize reaching down your throat to the place where this negative energy resides shoulders, stomach, chest, back or maybe the feet and pull it out through the mouth. Count as you do this from one to ten. QuantumAbundanceMethod.com 7

8 When the negative color has come from your mouth, you will visualize setting a match to this color. The match ignites. The color is burning. Gray, black, red, blue or whatever you have chosen this color has ceased to exist in your workroom of meditation. You are still breathing deeply and slowly during this time. You take a moment after the flames quiet down and observe the intensity of negative energy has disappeared from inside you. You have a new sense of freedom. You feel light inside. Begin, now, to approach your limiting beliefs, one, by one. Start with something like I am not smart enough. Say that in your meditative mind, now and notice the lower level of negative energy. If you cannot say that it is rated a zero or totally gone, then repeat it within your meditative realm using a voice that will surely get you to laugh. Recall a humorous voice from your childhood cartoons that make the visualizations easy. Have that cartoon voice repeat the false truth until you notice the residual negative sensations are fully gone. Then, select another limiting belief, such as I am not young enough for this sort of thing. And, then, I am too overweight to be a success. Continue until you have completed all your limiting beliefs. When you have completed your personal list of false truths, choose to wake from your somnolent state. This is three. You prepare to return to the conscious world where sound, taste, sight, smell, and touch merge. This is two. Your body and your mind will merge with the world around you. You decide to start moving your body just as if awaking from a deep sleep. This is one. You observe you have returned to the room where you began your meditation. After some adjusting to the light and movement of muscles, you are ready to stand up. You have learned how to cleanse your mind of negative beliefs! QuantumAbundanceMethod.com 8
