Allowing ourselves to rest and play together, to share the various healing techniques each of us brings to the circle, to contemplate Nature in walking and meditation, to enjoy being together and celebrate life, recharging our batteries! Our base will be Katikià Music Farm and we will be walking, practicing in different locations including nearby beaches, cliffs and olive groves. A couple of evenings we will go to local tavernas with the whole group. We will sing and speak english and italian. Contribution is 350 for 6 days of group sessions, excluding transport, food and accommodation. Children are welcome and to be cared for. The event takes place with minimum 6 participants, your reservation is confirmed upon payment of a deposit of 100. We are practicing FREEDOM in many ways, including letting go of control! We will have an ideal program that can be adjusted depending on the retreat, the weather and participants needs. Just to give you an impression, this is how a retreat could flow: First day is for arriving, adjusting, saying hallo to the sea and relaxing! Sunday: afternoon meeting at the pier and walk to the beach for first mud circle, drink in local taverna Monday 8-10 yoga & breakfast, beach outing, massage, music & relax, free evening Tuesday: singing session, massage exchange, late lunch together, free evening Wednesday: 8-10 yoga & breakfast, mud and water session, massage, music & relax, free evening Thursday: all day sing & swim boat trip to nearby islands Friday: 8-10 yoga & breakfast, massage exchange, walk to St.Stefano Beach for last mud and drink with a view Saturday is for saying goodbyes and departure. 2 FEELING SOUND RETREATS 2018 General Info FOOD & ACCOMMODATION The contribution for the retreat covers the activities in the program, tea breaks and snacks. It does not cover travel, food and accommodation. You can book accomodation either through Green Corfu ( - info@greencorfu.com) or directly with the local hotels, check Katikià Music Farm does have a couple of rooms and tents so if you wish to stay with us just contact us first as availability is limited. The closest accommodations to Katikià are Vavilas taverna and apartments, Gianni s apartments, Margarita Pension, as well as Makis Apartments, Dimitra Studios, Nikos Kokkinos, Palms and Feakes. Tavernas in the village are very good and affordable, plus most of the rooms have a little kitchen where you can cook your own food, you can buy food in several mini markets around the village. MOBILITY Arillas is a small village and most people walk around easily. It s easy to rent scooters and cars also in the village. Nearby beautiful beaches other than the Arillas beach are Agios Georgios Pagi and Agios Stefanos, both 10 minutes drive. Other nearby places to explore are Afionas, the garden of Corfu, Angelokastro, with the ruins of an ancient venetian fortress on the lay line of Archangel Michael and Paleokastritza, a nice typical village with view. TRANSFER FROM CORFU KERKYRA AIRPORT FLY DIRECTLY TO CORFU from all main European airports with airlines Aegean, Easyjet and Ryanair from Easter to September. Arillas is a pretty village on the north west part of Corfu, one hour away by car or a bit more by bus. - TO SHARE THE TRIP check on the FACEBOOK event if anyone else is coming on your day/time or join the fb group Arillas Ride and Room Share - A DIRECT BUS to Arillas departs every day at 14 (2 pm), the bus station is 10 minutes walk from the airport, other nearby bus stations are in Agios Georgios Pagi and Agios Stefanos (from there we can pick you up and drive you to your hotel) - A SHUTTLE BUS for more people arriving with similar timetables can be arranged and shared paying around 20 euros per person, check with Arillas travel (arillast@ otenet.gr) and Olgas travel (olgastravel@gmail.com), mainly during July and August - RENT A CAR at Corfu airport to explore the island until your departure - TAXI FARE is quite expensive, about 60 Euros, but if you are a group, here is a good private taxi service: Corfu Holiday Taxi, info@corfuholidaytaxi.com

3 FEELING SOUND RETREATS 2018 General Info PRACTICALITIES At Katikià Music Farm we have meditation cushions, a few yoga mats and, if necessary, chairs, but you can also bring your own pillow and yoga mat to practice wherever you feel. Since we want to reduce as many forms of disposable items as possible, we ask you to bring your own water bottle, drinking water is available. You are responsible for the protection of your valuables, including children if they come along! We have 5 beautiful cats that are part of our family, so your dog is welcome only if friendly, small and under your care. The activities mainly take place outdoors, therefore it is advisable to bring adequate mosquito repellent, sunscreen and hat, comfortable walking shoes and layers of clothes, it can get very hot during the day and a little chilly in the evening. Expressing our emotions by singing together is a joyous and exciting inner journey in good company, a real Voice Quest to discover ourselves through our sound. An important element of our workshops is vocal harmonics, a singing technique also called overtone or diphonic singing. This singing style found in Tuva, Mongolia, creates a very high whistle-like melody above the normal voice. It is possible to learn how to use our voice to break up these harmonics into specific sound frequencies.
