3 The Entities, Beings, and Personalities Of The Urantia Book INTRODUCTION The Urantia Book is unique in presenting factual material about the universe beyond our planet, Urantia, and beyond this material existence. All religious materials refer to spiritual beings and entities. However, only The Urantia Book gives a detailed listing and description of some of the vast numbers of beings that exist beyond what we can know or see in this material lifetime. The word amazing doesn t come close to describing the number or the functions of the different beings that live and function in the Grand Universe. It is very difficult to produce a study aid such as this without ending up merely presenting the entire text of The Urantia Book. The Urantia Book in itself could be considered a study aid or a textbook for a course called The Grand Universe 101. This study aid is not intended to be an in-depth study of all the beings, entities, and personalities of the Grand Universe. Rather, it is intended to help the student recognize the structure of authority that exists within the spiritual realms that we are a part of. You will first find a listing of all the beings mentioned in The Urantia Book in alphabetical order with the page number of this book where it can be found. The second section of this book, following the Index, is the MAIN CLASSIFICATIONS AND SUB-CLASSES OF BEINGS FROM THE URANTIA BOOK. The purpose of this section is actually the main purpose of this study aid. This section gives you a visual pattern of the many levels of beings and how they relate to the other levels of beings in the universe of universes. This section is followed by the DESCRIPTIONS, FUNCTIONS, AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE REVEALED BEINGS OF THE URANTIA BOOK. Here you will find information about each being. Before the description of each being, is a listing of the sub-group number and the corresponding group that the particular being is a sub-group of, the parents or origin of the being, followed by it s principle domain where it lives and functions. Next is the population of the being followed by the page number of The Urantia Book where the details of the being can be found for further study. This is followed by a brief summary description of the being from The Urantia Book. All descriptions are direct quotes from The Urantia Book. This book lists these many beings in categories that define their relationship to one another. The higher the being, the bigger the print is for the title of that being. The main classifications will be in 72 font and the subclassifications will be in progressively smaller font and color coded. For example: Seraphim Supreme Seraphim Son-Spirit Ministers The Ministering Spirits of the Local Universe are a main group of beings in the universe. The color code indicates that Seraphim are a sub-group of the Ministering Spirits of the Local Universe. Supreme Seraphim are then a sub-group of Seraphim. Son-Spirit Ministers is a subgroup of Supreme Serephim. Remember the saying, Yellow and Green make Blue. Yellow first, Green second, and Blue third.
