She just looked at me and said, "Because you're a human being." I hated that answer! I wanted to be free of the feeling once and for all and had a belief that it was something that could be whisked away. Yet, when I stopped to

2 ponder what she had said, it began to make sense. We are not necessarily here to rid ourselves of unpleasant feelings but to learn from them, grow from them and embrace them as the teachers that they are. There is a richness to feelings that I believe we cannot attain anywhere else. The experiences that we have all contain the DNA of our lives and that DNA is what I have branded - Divine Natural Awareness. This is the awareness of how we pass through our life's stages and have the opportunities to become intimate with our own selves on a Divine level. Without the feelings, we would be devoid of the depth of healing necessary to fully develop. Now when I feel the sadness, I have begun to say "thank you". Thank you for allowing me the privilege of knowing myself so well that I can feel the gifts of the sadness, anger, hurt, fear, shame and now, the joy! I have pretty smart friends! My Reiki teacher, Arline Rowden, is bringing this wonderful class to Free Spirit Crystals. She is a professional member of the Soul Lightening International Acupressure. Arline completed her clinical Acupressure Certfication in August of 2012 She is also a certified Soul Lightening teacher of Seva Stress Release, Acupressure for Anyone and Clinical Acupressure. Join me in the class to learn: Part 1: SEVA Stress Release: (Self Care): Addresses a wide range of needs including general relaxation and well-being or extreme shock and stress. Anyone can learn this simple but effective way to help themselves. You will learn a unique touch method, various effective acupoints and how to use this in self-care. You will learn about the healing and transforming power of acupressure, practice techniques to use for self-care and home skills that you can use for the rest of your life. Part 2: SEVA Stress Release: (For Others): You will learn how to give acupressure to others by both sitting on a chair and lying comfortably on massage tables. After taking this entire day class, you will have enough information and skill to practice easily on yourself, your family and your friends. Jaap van Etten Phd We're still working out the details but from Thursday, September 24th to Monday, September 28th, Jaap will be giving workshops and healing sessions at Free Spirit Crystals. His classes include a one night lecture on Crystal Skulls, a Saturday class on the 14 Chakras and a Sunday class on land near Holy Hill on Earth Energies. Jaap will also be offering individual healing session on Friday, September 25th and Monday, September 28th. Jaap is an internationally known speaker, healer and author who earned his Phd in Biology in the Netherlands, specializing in Ecology. For the past 20 years his focus has been on metaphysical ecology, the human energies, the earth energies, energies of stones and crystals, crystal skulls, the subtle worlds and how these energies interact. I had the pleasure of having lunch with Jaap about a month ago and was taken with his sincerity and heart to help the world heal. His extensive knowledge of the earth's energies and the energies of stones intrigued me and I just knew I had to have him come to Free Spirit.
