1 Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) GBR National Coaching Roles - April 2019 onwards British Gymnastics is seeking to engage the services of the following National Coaches for DMT from April 2019 onwards. Roles DMT GBR Head National Coach DMT GBR Junior National Coach DMT GBR Assistant National Coaches x 2 Dates: Payment: April 2019 March 2020 Contract for Services paid quarterly by honorarium The focus of these 4 roles will be to maintain and progress the development of DMT gymnasts in the GBR Senior and Junior Performance Programmes whilst also establishing closer collaboration and coaching partnerships with the DMT Home Nation Programmes. DMT National Coaching Team These roles will form part of the DMT National Coaching Team. The aim of this Group working closely with the TRA, TUM & DMT Technical Committee will be to manage & further develop the DMT Performance Pathway Structure working in close co-operation with the DMT Home Nation Programmes. 2 Additional Information The Performance Manager, The TC Chair for DMT and the Sports Programme Officer for DMT will jointly oversee these roles. Payment terms will be set out in the Contract for Services and consultancy fees will be paid quarterly. Travel expenses will also be claimable by invoice and detailed in the Contract for Service. For the duration of the engagement, the contractor (coach) will be fully responsible for ensuring that they: Hold a current (within last 3 years) BG DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Certificate Hold a current (within 3 years) Safeguarding and Protecting children certificate Hold current BG Coach membership Attend any required CPD Hold current relevant Coaching qualifications Credible & current technical expertise delivering at Pathway Squad level or above
3 Role Details - DMT Head National Coach The Contractor will oversee the coaching programmes for the DMT GBR National Programmes and Teams with a specific remit for the DMT Senior Programme. For dates & timescales please see the DMT Programme Calendar for on page 7 of this paper. 1. Training and Preparation Lead Coach with the DMT Senior GBR Programme Up to 5 GBR Senior Programme Camps through the period April 2019 to March 2020 with responsibility for Planning, Delivery, Review and Coach/Gymnast Feedback after each Programme Camp. Regular contact with Personal Coaches of GBR DMT Sen/Jun National Programme gymnasts Working closely in support of the National Junior DMT Coaches with regards to planning, monitoring and review of the DMT Junior Programme. 2. GBR National Team Duties for DMT. Lead Coach and/or co-ordinator at the following Events: Worlds Team Preparation Camps LNSC, 2 weekends Oct/Nov dates tbc 2019 World Championships (JAP) 22 Nov - 1 Dec dates tbc 1-2 International DMT Events tbc during 2019/ European s Team Trial & Preparation Camp - likely 3 days Mar/Apr - dates tbc 3. Programme Planning/Review /Selection & PP Development Input Planning/review of Senior Programme Camps; Creation and Monitoring of Individual Athlete Plans (IAP s) for Senior Programme Gymnasts; Training data capture and analysis where appropriate; Reporting to and liaising with Performance Manager and TC Chair for planning, feedback and selection purposes. Lead DMT Coach representative on the DMT Selection Nomination Panel meetings. Attendance & technical support as appropriate at the TRA/TUM/DMT Symposium January 2020 (date tbc) Overview support of the ENG DMT Coaching Staff for the Technical Direction, Programme Content and selection processes of the ENG DMT Programme Pathway. Individual CPD duties (to be determined by the PM/Path M) in support of identified ENG DMT Programme coaches
4 Role Details - DMT Junior National Coach The Contractor will oversee the coaching programmes for the DMT GBR Junior National Programme and Teams working in close collaboration with the DMT Head National Coach 1. Training and Preparation Lead Coach with the GBR DMT Junior/WAGC Programme Delivery of up to 5 WAGC/Junior Programme Camps for the period April 2019 to March Involving Planning, Delivery, Review and Coach/Gymnast feedback after each Camp. Regular liaison and feedback with the Personal Coaches of GBR DMT Junior National Programme gymnasts Working closely with the for DMT Assistant National Coach (Junior) and the DMT Head National Coach, PM and SPO recording and monitoring of Junior/WAGC training data for feedback and selection purposes. 2. Lead GBR Junior Coach at the following Events 2019 WAGC Team Preparation Camps LNSC, 2 weekends Oct/Nov dates tbc 2019 WAGC Championships (JAP) 29 Nov 9 Dec dates tbc 1-2 international DMT Events tbc during 2019/ European Junior Championships Trial & Team Preparation Camp - likely 3 days March/April dates tbc 3. Training and Preparation Assistant Coach with the DMT Senior/17-21 GBR Programmes Helping deliver up to 5 GBR Senior Programme Camps through the period April 2019 to March Working closely with the DMT Head National Coach in the Planning, Delivery, Review and Coach/Gymnast Feedback after each Camp. Regular technical support and feedback with Personal Coaches of the GBR DMT Squad. Working closely with the Head National Coach, PM and SPO recording and monitoring of Programme training data for feedback and selection purposes. 2.
