6 PRINCIPAL MESSAGE It gives me immense pleasure to know that KV BSF Bandipur is bringing out an Vidyalaya Patrika, for the academic year I am sure this will showcase the impressive and outstanding achievements and activities in all spheres for the year. KVS is deeply committed to the holistic development of the personality of the students, taking care of their mind and body and moulding them into strong, responsible and reliable citizens of the nation. In fact newsletter gives opportunities to the students to express their views and show case the talent of budding artists. 7 Assembly (Value Based Assembly) The Vidyalaya assembly works as a unifying force. Students feel the school as an organized group and every student realizes that he is part and parcel of the school community. Assembly works as a source of inspiration and its experiences widen and deepen students' interests. It works as a platform for propagation of commendable work. Outstanding performances and achievements of students in curricular and co-curricular fields get recognized before the entire school. Badges, certificates, cups etc. are awarded to the winners in the presence of entire school population. School assembly serves as a place for developing audience habits. Respects for others' feelings, courtesy towards speakers and guests, sensible applause at the proper time, appreciative attitude are some of the good audience habits that the students develop through school assembly.

(L Surya, Class: 6 th ) Peace Peace is something everybody tries to find, Chaos and confusion is in every mind; Streets are full of loud noise, Silence is what everybody destroys. But if we see. Peace is even in the noise of trains, It also lies in beautiful melody of rains; Peace can be found in the time which is very bad, Or in a moment which is very sad. Peace is something that can t be seen, Neither can t be felt by one who is mean; It overcomes all the anger, Once felt, it takes away all the danger. Stupid thinks, peace can be only found in gazing nature or in meditation, But this could only be found by one with higher imagination; Some try to find it in green valley or in hill, But being peaceful only depends on a person s will. I wanted a change When I was so young I wanted to change the world I found it difficult to change the world So I tried to change my nation When I could not change the nation I began to focus on my town, but I could not change the town As I got older, I tried to change my family!
