1 PERTEMUAN I 1. Ilmu bahasa arab terdiri dari beberapa cabang, 4 cabang utama adalah: nahwu, sharaf, balaghah dan arudh. Nahwu dan sharaf masuk ke dalam tata bahasa (gramatika). 2. Seperti bahasa lain, keterampilan berbahasa ada: membaca (qiraah), menulis (kitabah/insya iyah), mendengar (sima ah/istima iyah) dan berbicara (muhadatsah/hiwarah). Kita hanya akan mengejar dasar-dasar keterampilan pertama (membaca dan mengartikan bacaan). 3. Tujuan bahasa arab tertinggi adalah dirasah ulum islamiyah karena ilmu al-lughat al- arabi merupakan ilmu alat. Tapi tujuan kita adalah minimal, yaitu meningkatkan kenikmatan, kemampuan dan intuisi dalam berinteraksi dengan teks (nash) 4. Tips belajar antara lain: himmah, ikhlas, istiqamah, mujahadah, iltizam (tidak berpindah metode sebelum selesai), dan tamrinat (memperbanyak praktik; yaitu latihan soal dan menghafal). Dalam ilmu lain, memahami lebih penting dari menghafal, tapi dalam bahasa arab, tidak mungkin menghafal tanpa memahami sementara memahami tanpa menghafal tidak akan terlalu berguna. Nabi SAW bersabda, "Iman mempunyai lebih dari enam puluh cabang. Beliau dan hamba sahayanya mengenakan pakaian (mantel) yang serupa. Kemudian saya bertanya apa sebabnya mereka mengenakan pakaian yang serupa. Abu Dzar menjawab, 'Aku pernah memaki seseorang dengan menghina ibunya. Lalu Nabi SAW berkata kepadaku, "Wahai Abu Dzar, apakah kau memaki dia dengan menghina ibunya? Rupanya masih ada dalam dirimu karakteristik jahiliyah. Para hambamu adalah saudara-saudaramu yang Allah titipkan di bawah tanggungjawabmu. Oleh karena itu, barangsiapa memiliki hamba sahaya, hendaklah hamba sahaya itu diberikan makanan yang dimakan dan diberi pakaian yang dipakai serta janganlah mereka dibebani dengan pekerjaan yang berada di luar kemampuan mereka. Jika mereka terpaksa mengerjakannya maka bantulah mereka." D. 3 - Isim (secara umum kata benda) - Fi il (secara umum kata kerja) (namun definisi asli fi il adalah kata yang memiliki kaitan dengan waktu) - Huruf (secara umum kata sambung atau kata sandang atau kata tugas) Untuk mengenali isim pada teks, ada 3 cara, a. mengetahui arti kata (jika kata benda maka isim) bertahap selama belajar b. mengenali dan menghafal jenis-jenis/kategori isim c. mengenali dari ciri-ciri fi il yang ada pada teks Penjelasan b. Contohnya: isim maushul (kata sambung yaitu ma, man, alladzi dll adalah isim), isim isyarah seperti hadza, hadzihi, dll. Kategori isim nanti akan diberikan bertahap. *Jika kita tidak mengenali jenis isim ini, kadang-kadang salah menduga sebagai huruf karena mirip* Penjelasan c. Ciri Isim ada 3: memiliki AL, berakhiran TANWIN, dan didahului huruf jar (huruf yang TAMBAHAN menjadikan kalimat setelahnya berharokat akhir kasratain atau i ) *(ini adalah ciri dasar, selanjutnya JENIS ISIM akan ada ciri-ciri lain)* Ada 21 isim (secara kasar dikatakan 21 nama isim atau 21 jenis isim). 3 jenis ditinjau dari huruf penulisan yaitu isim maqshur, isim manqush dan isim mamdud) 18 jenis ditinjau dari asal pembentukan, secara kategorikal ada 2, yaitu isim jamid (9 jenis) dan isim musytaq (9 jenis) Dari 9 jenis isim jamid, yang penting diketahui di awal adalah isim yang sering dikira huruf/harf, yaitu 5 jenis: isim dhomir, isim isyarah, isim istifham, isim maushul, dan isim kinayah ISIM ISYARAH al. hadzaa, hadzihi, hadzaani, hataani, haaulaai, haaulaai, dzalika, tilka, dzaanika, taanika, ulaaika, ulaaika, hunaa, hunaaka, hunaalika ISIM ISTIFHAM ada 13, yang terpenting dihafalkan adalah man, maa, maadzaa, mata, ayna, kayfa, kam, a dan hal. Lainnya adalah man dza, ayyaana, anna, dan ayyu. Khusus a dan hal sebetulnya merupakan harf. ISIM MAUSHUL yaitu yang bisa dibedakan pemakaiannya berdasar gender dan number alladzi, Untuk mengenali fi il ada 3 cara, a. mengetahui arti kata (jika kata kerja maka fi il) kosakata akan bertambah selama belajar b. mengetahui dan menghafal rumus-rumus tashrif fi il otomatis akan dipelajari dalam sharaf c. mengenali ciri-ciri fi il yang ada pada teks

4 Ciri fi il ada 4: diawali huruf SA (nanti), huruf SAUFA (kelak), huruf QAD (telah). *ciri ini tidak selalu muncul dalam teks, oleh karena itu kita butuh cara a. dan b. Cara b, yaitu mengetahui tashrif2 atau wazan2 fi il pasti otomatis bertahap diketahui sepanjang belajar ilmu shorof, namun ada beberapa yang sering muncul: - Diakhiri dhomir yang menunjukkan objek, misal qatalahu, hu di situ adalah objek yang dikenai qatala, sehingga qatala merupakan isim (artinya membunuh, memerangi). Bedakan dengan isim dhamir yang artinya kepemilikan misal kitabuhu, artinya kitabnya, nya di situ adalah dhamir yang artinya kepemilikan - Diakhiri imbuhan nun taukid, misal layaqtulunna, uktubna - Diawali huruf tanda fi il mudhori yaitu huruf A-NA-YA-TA misalnya aktubu (aku sedang menulis), na qilu (kami berpikir), yadzhabu (dia sedang pergi, yuth imu (dia sedang memberi makan), taskunu (kamu tinggal) - Mengandung dhomir di akhir kata yang menunjukkan pelaku, di antaranya: a. diakhiri TA TA NITS MAFTUHAH / SAKINAH (kata yang diakhiri TA TA NITS MARBUTHOH hampir pasti isim) artinya dhomir pelaku wanita, misal dzahabat faathimatu dzahaba+t = telah dzahaba dia perempuan. Jadi dzahaba adalah fi il (artinya telah pergi) b. diakhiri wawu alif atau wawu alif nun artinya dhomir pelaku mereka, seperti fa aluu, yuuqinuuna c. diakhiri ta atau ti atau tu artinya dhamir aku, dhomir kamu misal qumtu (aku berdiri), qumta (kamu berdiri) Ada tanda lain yang sering dipakai sebagai jalan pintas, yaitu jika teks yang ada diberi harokat seperti teks al quran dan biasanya al hadits, maka jika harakat terakhir kata pada teks fathah atau dhammah atau sukun (bukan tanwin dan kasrah) DAN tidak ada ciri isim, *biasanya* itu fi il

5 Ada 20 harf jar, tapi yang paling sering muncul ada 9, perlu dihafalkan sejak tahap awal:, ا لى, عن, م ن, علي, في, حت ى,,. 11 yang lain adalah,, م, م,, خلى, ع ا, ح ش, كي, متى, لعل ى

6 Huruf/Harf ada sekitar 80-an huruf. Selain harf jar tadi, yang masuk kategori huruf pengi rab adalah harf nashob dan harf jazm 1. Harf nashob, misal an, lan, idzan, kai, lam kay, lam juhud, dll 2. Harf jazm, misal lam, lammaa, alam, alamma, haytsumma, kayfama, dll Selain harf jar, jazm dan nashob, ada yang diluar kategori fungsi peng-i rab, misal jenis huruf athaf (kata sambung dan, bedakan dengan isim maushul). Ada 10, yaitu wa, faa, aw, am, bal, lakin, tsumma, laa (bukan), hatta NAMUN semua ini tidak perlu diketahui atau dihafal sekarang, KECUALI harf jar karena berhubungan dengan ciri isim Dari 80-an total HARF, selain harf jar, yang sering muncul adalah lakinna, laulaa, laakin, kallaa, ka-anna, immaa, ammaa, illaa, allaa, idzmaa, na am, saufa, tsumma, balaa, inna, anna, alaa, idzan, idzaa, yaa, waa, hal, lau, maa (yang artinya tidak), lan, lam, laa, kay, qad, bal, au, in, an, fa, wa (baik artinya dan maupun sumpah), sa, a. Dari 37 huruf ditambah 20 huruf jar, total ada 57 huruf yang sering muncul. Dalam mempelajari huruf, ada 2 hal yang dipelajari: 1. Fungsi I rabnya yaitu harf jar menjadikan isim setelahnya berakhiran harokat i/ in, harf nashab, harf jazm, inna wa akhowatuha, kaana wa akhowatuha, dzhonna wa akhowatuha 2. Faidah huruf, misal la bisa berarti sungguh, bukan, tidak, jangan, untuk, wa bisa berarti dan, sungguh (sumpah), li bisa berarti perintah, untuk, agar, menyangkal, sungguh dst NAMUN INI TIDAK PERLU DIPELAJARI SEKARANG, YANG PENTING ADALAH KENAL KATA-KATA YANG MASUK HURUF/HARF (TA YIN KALIMAH) A. 7 1. Alif, laam, raa. ini adalah ayat-ayat kitab (Al Quran) yang nyata (dari Allah). 2. Sesungguhnya Kami menurunkannya berupa Al Quran dengan berbahasa Arab, agar kamu memahaminya. 3. Kami menceritakan kepadamu kisah yang paling baik dengan mewahyukan Al Quran ini kepadamu, dan Sesungguhnya kamu sebelum (kami mewahyukan) nya adalah Termasuk orang-orang yang belum mengetahui. 4. (ingatlah), ketika Yusuf berkata kepada ayahnya: "Wahai ayahku, Sesungguhnya aku bermimpi melihat sebelas bintang, matahari dan bulan; kulihat semuanya sujud kepadaku." 5. Ayahnya berkata: "Hai anakku, janganlah kamu ceritakan mimpimu itu kepada saudara-saudaramu, Maka mereka membuat makar (untuk membinasakan) mu. Sesungguhnya syaitan itu adalah musuh yang nyata bagi manusia." 6. dan Demikianlah Tuhanmu, memilih kamu (untuk menjadi Nabi) dan diajarkan-nya kepadamu sebahagian dari ta'bir mimpi-mimpi dan disempurnakan-nya nikmat-nya kepadamu dan kepada keluarga Ya'qub, sebagaimana Dia telah menyempurnakan nikmat-nya kepada dua orang bapakmu sebelum itu, (yaitu) Ibrahim dan Ishak. Sesungguhnya Tuhanmu Maha mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana. 7. Sesungguhnya ada beberapa tanda-tanda kekuasaan Allah pada (kisah) Yusuf dan saudarasaudaranya bagi orang-orang yang bertanya. 8. (yaitu) ketika mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya Yusuf dan saudara kandungnya (Bunyamin) lebih dicintai oleh ayah kita dari pada kita sendiri, Padahal kita (ini) adalah satu golongan (yang kuat). Sesungguhnya ayah kita adalah dalam kekeliruan yang nyata. 9. bunuhlah Yusuf atau buanglah Dia kesuatu daerah (yang tak dikenal) supaya perhatian ayahmu tertumpah kepadamu saja, dan sesudah itu hendaklah kamu menjadi orang-orang yang baik." 10. seorang diantara mereka berkata: "Janganlah kamu bunuh Yusuf, tetapi masukkanlah Dia ke dasar sumur supaya Dia dipungut oleh beberapa orang musafir, jika kamu hendak berbuat."
